This cafe in city center is rather small. Maybe around 8 seats only. Most people would just take away their coffee & snack. The Nutella cookie is amazing. The coffee is great. I really like it here.
This is the first time in my life a barista memorizes my order, I must say the service & the vibe is exceptional & this is the best coffee shop in Montreal
Update: On Monday, January 8, I revisited Olimpico & recounted the incident to the other barista, Daniele. He responded with absolute professionalism, offering an explanation for such occurrences in a bustling café, expressing gratitude for my feedback, & extending an apology. _______________ Tonight, I experienced disappointment. I choose Olimpico to have freshly grounded espresso. After ordering two Cortados, the barista used preground coffee that had been sitting around the grinder throughout the day, scraping it off to make my shot. This was unprofessional, but I felt too shy to voice my complaint. (Jan 3rd, before closing)

The place is so cozy I wanted to move in. Lets not forget the barista, Justin! That guy is the coffee wizard. He made me a drink with the precision of a chemist. I left feeling like I could conquer the world.
Great coffee, as expected. Pastries are good. Friendly & professional service . The only negative thing about this location is its size. It's tiny. You probably won't find a table, so you can stay at the bar, but it's not a huge problem.
The two baristas this Monday morning were incredible. I couldn't believe my eyes. The first barista named by Lucas Rota made me a cappuccino by the hand of God. I am not religious but this morning yes.
Their baristas are the best. There's a bunch of regular at this place: this is sunshine - really. Even at 6am, always someone friendly to catch up, talk or just be content with a good coffee & authentic intalian treats, on your own but not alone. Everyone is welcome here: fam with kids, queer folks, people from all around the world, really, they welcome you both in French & English (which amazing imo). Justin always take the time to listen & say something sincere. I don't know the names of all the staff but they actually care about the place, the people & the quality. You can feel it.

Really wanted to like this spot. Lovely cozy ambiance, chill music. Service was meh. Flat white was...flat. Just does not compare eg to Myriade. & the croissant, small & also...flat! Not what I expect from Montreal or from the much hyped Olimpico. Maybe it was an off morning. Ambiance is 5 star...food needs to catch up.
Olimpico is truly a perfect place. I work nearby, & right from the start I was hooked to the perfect coffees (espresso in my case), & fantastic staff. Within a couple of visits they took the time to reach out to me, ask my name, & genuinely chat. The friendliest bunch I can imagine. The cafe itself is nice & small, but don't let the lines discourage you! The guys behind the counter pump out amazing beverages like crazy. Shoutout to Lucas Rota, who gives me my espresso boost most afternoons! What a guy! Great bunch they all are, really.
Best coffee place in the city! Best decor! Best staff! Coffee & service quality is always top notch. Thank you Justin & Lucas for always recognizing your best customer & making coffee time a more priceless moment that it already is!
