Charming little noodle shop. Food was really good, especially the udon noodles. Perfect chew. Everything was very tasty, but I have had broth with deeper, more 3 dimensional richness.

The udon noodles had a good texture which is the most important thing. The beef udon had a lot more beef in it then I expected which was a nice surprise. The soup was on the sweet side for me though. But it is a solid cheaper option in this area. Both dishes we got seemed to be prepared with care.

🍜 The beef udon was SO GOOD - LOVED the broth -well-balanced broth that complemented the noodles. The noodles were also cooked perfectly (not under cooked nor over cooked). The freshly baked matcha cookies were soft, fresh, & not too sweet.

The people who work & serve there are also super nice -adding to the welcoming café vibes.

I was quite disappointed by this place because my expectations were high. I initially wanted to rate this place 2/5 but my partner liked his dish so I give 1 more star.

I ordered a matcha tiramisu. They had a very nice dessert shelf so I was excited for it. Turns out it was just cream cheese on top of the matcha, nothing close to the tiramisu flavor. The matcha in itself was good, but nothing exceptional.
For the udon, I took the miso & mushrooms one. As one of the other comment was mentioning, the miso flavor was lacking & it was more creamy udons. I took an extra tempura shrimp (+3$), & I had to look for the shrimp in all of the fried paste. Absolutely not worth the extra. Noodles were good.
My partner really liked his beef udon on the other side.

Generous portions, but I think it is more of a student café/snack bar rather than a restaurant. Prices were very correct, especially for the onigiris.

Below is my humble opinion. Just some respectful feedback for the vendor please don't hate me.

The food is very tasty. But only for a short second. This is because the carb & protein ratio is very off:Very little meat/ the dish itself & a lot of rice & udon, also making the food overpriced. So if you want a big bowl of just rice or noodles with very less things to go with it this is your place. I think the dish portion can be easily doubled to match its price.

Service is super great & waiters are nice! Speedy with food & drinks!

The beef udon was very good, with a runny egg & perfectly cooked udon noodles. Soup was steaming hot, perfect for a cold day. The cookies were also very good, a bit on the sweet side

Food looks good, but tastes bland. My friend & I each ordered cold noodles , gyozas & drinks + dessert. I personally got sesame cold noodles & vanilla matcha.

I rarely leave reviews, but I feel the need to be completely transparent here.

As for noodles, the taste was extremely bland. The texture of crispy flakes very quickly became soggy & off putting in the noodles but that might be a personal preference. The most flavourful part of the dish were shiitake mushrooms, which speaks for itself. Portion is underwhelming, just like the taste.

As for the matcha, it was very sweet & i could taste more syrup than matcha. Also, the vanilla syrup they use tasted very artificial to me which affected my rating.

Overall, the food mostly just *looked* good but didn't taste it. Service was alright, nothing much to say. Wouldn't return, wouldn't recommend 🤷?♀?

Great atmosphere, friendly staff & superb service.
I had the tempura onigiri & it came with the rice still warm.
I also got the curry udon with extra beef & the noodles had the perfect bounciness to them & the curry was just spicy enough.

With a drink, came to a total of about 34$
