The chicken katsu onigiri is a nice addition to the menu, the meat is so good I need more!! The homemade matcha cookie was lovely too. It had the right level of sweetness.
However, service was extremely slow despite being one of the few customers waiting for their order. Also, the strawberry/litchi tea was terrible 🥀
Tout est parfait, la nourriture, les boissons, le personnel, le café !! Mon endroit préféré depuis que je suis à Montréal !
Always yummy & affordable, I wish the onigiri had a little more filling in it though ! The matcha is not very strong, kinda just tastes like milk but I liked the hot hochija. I always come when am around downtown !
The service was very friendly. The food tasted great. The pasta was really delicious, & the sauce as well. I would recommend everyone to go there.
The mushroom udon had fewer mushrooms in it than the chicken teriyaki bowl. Ordered 2 plates of gyozas both were barely warm, we asked for them to be re-heated, I had to to & check if they had reheated them & collect them, they were still barely warm, this was unfortunate as they were nice, just cold. The pistachio latte was nice, the chicken teriyaki was decent too. The basque cheesecake was average, the nicest part was the pistachio cream on top. The service was ok but they seemed a bit rushed. The food was nice but the service & food being cold & the mushroom dish having very little mushroom was disappointing for the price.
The ube latte does not taste like ube at all. I think the taste of the coffee overpowered the very week ube syrup.
Also, it does not look like the picture at all. There was no purple.
Otherwise, the coffee part is good.
The unagi onigiri was perfect. There's a 10% discount for students.
Café Noya on Peel is quickly becoming one of my favorite spots! The mango matcha & strawberry drinks are the best so far. Super refreshing & perfectly balanced.
The crème brûlée & the matcha & pistachio cheesecake are absolutely out of this world. You can really taste the quality in everything they make.
On top of that, the staff are incredibly friendly & welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better. Definitely worth checking out!
Delicious udon! It's just hard to find a table because people stay a long time to study
I LOVE Café Noya. As you can tell by my pictures, I come here quite often & I've eaten a lot of items here & love all of it. The food here is so satisfying: hearty, tasty & yet not too fatty. Perfect balance as Japanese food always achieves.
The chicken katsu onigiri is seriously addicting (I could eat A LOT of those). You also can't go wrong with the creamy miso udon. Honestly, everything they have tastes fantastic. My go-to, though? Spicy chicken rice with extra beef. I could eat that every day (& I almost do lol).
The location is also very convenient if you take public transportation as it's right next to Peel metro.
I'm telling ya'll, Café Noya is a gem. I love the food, I love the staff. It's my favourite place to eat at after work.
Cuisine très savoureuse, ambiance chill & des super prix rapport qualité.
Worst service last time there ive the employees there were so rude with bad attitude & slow service
Cute little Japanese cafe/restaurant. Basic Udon was pretty basic, lol. Glad I added chicken otherwise it would have been really boring. Broth was good. Loved the seafood taste without the fishy smell. Onigiri were fresh. Shrimp gyoza were good too, but a small portion for the price. Good service & nice decor.
The new mango matcha recipe is barely sweet & more like a puree than a syrup/jammy flavour. As a matcha fan who's been a loyal customer for months, I found this drink to be barely drinkable which is the first time I can say this about a matcha from here. Please bring back the old version!!!!
