Review Summary

Café Nook offers a cozy atmosphere, tasty food, and a beautifully made latte, making it a perfect spot for a relaxed coffee break. The staff are courteous and the menu is interesting, with cakes that look appetizing in a variety of flavors. They are fresh, fluffy, and not too sweet. There are also trendy Korean dessert flavors for those who enjoy exploring new tastes.

Very cute & cozy cafe!!
The cakes are made in house so they're fresh & tasty! Various different flavors too!!
The coffee beans they use tastes like a medium roast & it doesn't have that bitter/burnt aftertaste making it very delicious (I had two coffees myself!!)

It's not too loud but also not too quiet so you can get some work done in peace or talk with friends.

The employees are also very nice & will answer any questions you have about the menu & other services

Overall, highly recommend 10/10!!

The mango matcha drink was really good. Earl grey cake had no flavour.

We visited Café Nook on a Saturday around lunch-time. It's a relatively new café in the Plateau but appears to be well-loved. The décor was cute with some plushies here & there, as well as a post-it note wall filled with little notes from visitors. The music playing wasn't too loud so it's a place you can study at or have a conversation with friends. Another big plus was that the bathroom was very clean.

The staff were very kind, knowledgeable, & took great care to ensure the cakes & drinks came out perfect! Being a Korean dessert café, they had many traditional cakes & patisseries, but also some unique flavours such as injeolmi cake (Korean sweet rice cake). Their drink menu is extensive & very tempting, including strawberry matcha & nut milk-based beverages.

We tried the matcha latte, hojicha latte, earl grey cake slice, & moka cake slice. The cake slices were a tad pricier than average, but I would say it's justified as the slices are significantly more generous. Both cake flavours were light & airy, & not too sweet (asians will know this is the greatest compliment). The latte prices are in-line with most cafés in the city. Matcha & hojicha lattes are often a hit-or-miss in the city due to sub-par tea quality, but Café Nook's tea quality was great & the beautiful latte art was a cherry-on-top.

We will definitely be returning whenever we're in the area to try more of their extensive menu.

The Café is super cozy! I tried the strawberry shorcake & I must, it's probably one of the best I've tried in Montreal. I also tried their Earl Grey cake & it was just delicious 😍
Their cake are so light & full of flavour. You can really taste the earl grey & strawberry in each bite. Will come again for sure! 💙
