I have previously insisted on this platform that the first priority of cafés is light. No one wants to sip a five dollar latte in a dank corner of abysmal luminescence. Best coffee in the area! The baristas in the morning are always really friendly, & the quality of the drinks are good at a reasonable price. Snacks are a little pricey (which, to be fair is expected for a café) but are usually good / fresh.View more

Just across the street from Alexis Nihon is this cute corner cafe. There are small tables with chairs that are good for 2 people to sit & have snacks. They are not ideal for working but there are benches near the windows & an outlet at the end of the wall. It is a bit far & difficult to reach so having a long cable is necessary. There is a good selection of coffee. The cortado was excellent & the staff were super friendly & nice. Ideal place for small groups to socialize but not feasible for large groups or working for long periods.View more
