Somehow got three appetizers before I could get a drink. Ordered focaccia which never came. Was there for 3 hours which 2 was spent waiting. Had to ask multiple times for updates on where our drinks & food were. Food was good but service abysmal, had to have many cocktails elsewhere to make up for the weak dining.
Amazing food with excellent service. Very little wait between courses & the cocktails were fabulous!
Absolutely beautiful restaurant with fantastic food & drink. I got their cantaloupe cocktail & tiramisu, both were divine! The cocktail was quite unique & made for a great dessert drink.
Went to this beautiful restaurant for dinner last night. The place is very charming & cozy. The food is excellent although it took quite a bit of time to get it, same for the cocktails. However, our waitress Raphaelle or Rachelle, not so sure of her name, she made our experience wonderful we barely even noticed the time we spent there. She was so attentive & focused on us, we had an amazing time, would definitely come again.
I got the taste the menu which costed about $75 & it was a fun experience! Portion sizes were perfect & the atmosphere really added to the fun. The store closes at 11 but my friend & I were able to stay until 11:30 because we had 3 courses left on the taste the menu. Our waitress was very sweet & gave us recommendations for cocktails too.
exquisite fine dining & worth the splurge! the decoration of the restaurant is so chic & beautiful & so is the food plating.
- the octopus is the best thing ive ever eaten. it was so soft inside one's mouth while the sauce was unreal- a bravura cocktail of delights & flavours. the cabbage added a bit of a crunch while the croutons are so crispy & butter-soaked. even though it was expensive for one tiny piece of octopus, it was worth it.i genuinely dont know how they made up the flavour.
- wasnt whelmed by the rigatoni even though it was well made & good.
- the cocktails were good- i ordered the secondo servizio & albicocca sourl. the latter was particularly heavier bt new for me. the first tasted too much like boozy juice for my taste.
My third time here, & it still has yet to disappoint. I was welcomed in by their host who, as each of my visits, was professional & warm. He sat me at the bar, where I was well taken care of by the bartender, Francis. I unfortunately did not have a cocktail this time, but he was happy to make conversation & make sure all my needs were met.
A fresh menu gave me something new to poke my nose into this time, much to my excitement. I tried the Cavatelli. I was served an enticing plate of creamy green goodness. The pasta must've been fresh, as it was deliciously tender, every bite felt just right. The sauce was just as pleasant. The rich saltiness from the Parmesan evolved the subtle garlic flavour. The bread crumbs on top? Also perfectly right, a fantastic addition that gave the dish a touch extra complexity. I was also endeared by their willingness to use every part of the broccolini rather than just the'fun parts'. Could've used a bit more depth, maybe some lemon zest could've been fun. Maybe I'm just a princess.
Funny enough, speaking of lemons, what does one do when given some by life? Well, if you're in charge of the menu at miracolo, you're making lemon pie. Masterfully so, in fact. Some kind of person decided it would be a good idea to throw on some hardened melted sugar on the top of it as if it were a creme brulee, & I love them for it. Just delicious. Fully recommend.
Also, had the focaccia with tomato paste. No notes. As always, incredible. Get it. You have 7.50$ extra to spend, I promise.
A big congratulations to the hard working kitchen, & the welcoming front of house. Thanks for serenading me with Jazz & giving me the meal I was hoping for after a brutal Montreal Canadiens Playoff loss.
See you again sometime soon, Miracolo.
