Overall Café Miracolo draws diners with a stunning eclectic decor and a lively festive ambiance that feels chic and welcoming for a date night or a group dinner. The freshness of ingredients and inventive dishes is frequently praised from carpaccio and burrata to pasta and seafood, with cocktails also earning high marks and tiramisu noted as particularly good. Service is described as attentive and friendly, though some experiences mention slower pacing when the venue is very busy. Standout items include mortadella, arancini, octopus, and cavatelli with lamb ragout, with a generally well valued wine list, though a few drinks or pours may be smaller or uneven. Portions are sometimes considered small for the price and some reviews note that sharing mains can be misrepresented. Overall Café Miracolo is a top Montreal pick for Italian inspired fare with a vibrant atmosphere, and many say they would return to explore more dishes.
My third time here, & it still has yet to disappoint. I was welcomed in by their host who, as each of my visits, was professional & warm. He sat me at the bar, where I was well taken care of by the bartender, Francis. I unfortunately did not have a cocktail this time, but he was happy to make conversation & make sure all my needs were met.
A fresh menu gave me something new to poke my nose into this time, much to my excitement. I tried the Cavatelli. I was served an enticing plate of creamy green goodness. The pasta must've been fresh, as it was deliciously tender, every bite felt just right. The sauce was just as pleasant. The rich saltiness from the Parmesan evolved the subtle garlic flavour. The bread crumbs on top? Also perfectly right, a fantastic addition that gave the dish a touch extra complexity. I was also endeared by their willingness to use every part of the broccolini rather than just the'fun parts'. Could've used a bit more depth, maybe some lemon zest could've been fun. Maybe I'm just a princess.
Funny enough, speaking of lemons, what does one do when given some by life? Well, if you're in charge of the menu at miracolo, you're making lemon pie. Masterfully so, in fact. Some kind of person decided it would be a good idea to throw on some hardened melted sugar on the top of it as if it were a creme brulee, & I love them for it. Just delicious. Fully recommend.
Also, had the focaccia with tomato paste. No notes. As always, incredible. Get it. You have 7.50$ extra to spend, I promise.
A big congratulations to the hard working kitchen, & the welcoming front of house. Thanks for serenading me with Jazz & giving me the meal I was hoping for after a brutal Montreal Canadiens Playoff loss.
Food was fantastic, but a bit disappointed. they had 4 pastas on the menu & didn't even have the one I ordered.
Waited a very long time for our drinks, got them after the appetizers.
It wasn't a busy day so not sure how both those events are possible.

i enjoyed it! we initially came for the terrasse & oysters but ended up getting a few small plates & drinks to go with them.
everything was absolutely delicious, especially the calamari with shishito peppers & bomba aioli. the burratina was also lovely & very flavourful thanks to the caponata. the earl grey mocktail was good overall but didn't really taste like earl grey, more like a citrusy juice. the oysters were great!
price was definitely the biggest drawback, with the final bill coming to around 100$ before tip split between two people for drinks & appetizers. portions were also pretty small. i was also surprised by the lack of vegetarian options in the main courses, especially the pastas which all contained meat/poultry.
overall, i enjoyed it & would absolutely go back, but i would stick to 5 à 7 & order sparingly rather than try a full meal. 7.5-8/10
Wow this ambiance is next level. Maybe one of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to.
Food was amazing! Started off with appetizers, Caesar salad & grilled mortadella were both amazing. The pastas were excellently cooked & flavourful & also pretty big portions! My friend also really liked her drink'Long Thyme No? Sì', it was kind of a mojito vibe.
In terms of the service, it was the tiniest bit slow, but then again our waitress was so kind & friendly & it was extremely packed on a Thursday night.
I went to Café Miracolo with my boyfriend & a friend, & I have to say -- the place looks gorgeous. I hadn't been before & honestly expected a regular café with pasta (I had a pasta craving), but walking in felt like stepping into a more elevated experience -- I even felt a bit underdressed, lol!
The service was pretty slow, which was a bit frustrating. I enjoyed my meal, but my friend found hers a little too salty for our taste.
Would I go back? Sure, but probably with a bit lower expectations this time. Still, it's a lovely spot if you want to soak in a nice atmosphere.
We LOVED everything that we ate tonight. Definitely try fried olives, grilled mortadella, the carpaccio, duck confit pasta, octopus & lemon tart. Sooo good! The cocktails are phenomenal too.

Our waitress was unenthusiastic, slow, & seemed bored to be serving. Most other servers were charismatic & presented plates with a smile. Food was pretty good (Valentine's Day set menu), especially the starters (burrata & salmon carpaccio) & the homemade pasta with mortadella, ricotta, & pistachios was delicious. Overall worth a try but on the pricier end for the size of the dishes.
Wow, this restaurant has become one of our favorite restaurants in Montreal. A reservation is a must, especially we have a big group of our family.
The table is small so we had to sit very close to each other. As a matter of fact we have to love each other to stay this close.
Food was incredibly delicious. Every dish we ordered was flavorful & impressive. Foccacia bread with spread was tasty. Mini pizza was also yummy. Fresh oysters were nice. Pasta was great. Truly, everything was excellent. We all are very happy with this dinner.
Fantastic Italian food… eclectic decor… great ambience… unpretentious but well executed plates … the pasta dishes we had were among the best ever… highly recommend!

Me encantó!
I don't understand how this place can get 4.5 stars. The pasta dishes were too spicy, the pétoncles didn't have any taste & the tiramisu was dry. Would definitely not recommend.
I went for a date with my boyfriend we loved the ambiance & the decor, the service was great & the food tasted good but we though it was pricey for the quantities served. We were disappointed in the polpettes (barely any sauce & dry) & the pasta plate was small for 31$.
I am giving the lovely lady that waited on me & the ambiance 5 stars. The food however was a 2. The goat cheese salad was not really a salad, it was melted cheese sauce with some beets & a few pecans. The spaghetti with clams & garlic sauce was not good at all. The pasta was chewy, even after re making it. The thin sliced clams, maybe 4 were most likely from a can, were inedible & like rubber. I've been traveling & looking forward to a nice meal, the reviews were quite misleading sadly. Very disappointed.
I recently dined at Miracolo in Montreal with my boyfriend, & it was an exceptional evening. We each started with a drink-an Amaro Julep & a Cosmopolitan-& both were fantastic, perfectly balanced & flavorful. For appetizers, we tried the burratini with strawberries, which was an unexpected yet delightful combination. It was fresh, creamy, & a great start to the meal. We also had the focaccia, which was soft & delicious. Our main dish was a plate of pasta, & like everything else, it was spot on in terms of flavor & texture. The ambiance of Miracolo is something special. The place is super cute, with mirrors everywhere & unique decorations that give it a stylish yet cozy feel. There's also a terrace outside, which would be perfect for warmer evenings. What really made the night even better was the service. Our waiter was friendly, attentive, & helpful with recommendations. Overall, the experience was wonderful, & I can't wait to return!
Very nice place with top notch service. The food was good but way overpriced for what it was. We had a pasta with those tiny Nordic shrimp which are practically the cheapest ones you can buy. It was 30$. The plate was small. I mean it was good but I was expecting much more.
New delicious spot on St. Laurent. The taste of all food & drinks we ordered exceeded expectations. Especially their non-alcohol amaretto sour & rotolo pasta. This pasta was probably one of the best I've ever had. The taste is very delicate, not heavy & the combination of creamy sauce & cheese was unique. Always busy & lively, though it doesn't impede food & service quality. Certainly recommend for dinners or drinks & sharing small plates with friends.
