Laid back Japanese café with decent selection of onigiri & drinks! A perfect afternoon snack spot. Their matcha was really good & you can adjust the sweetness level to your liking. Friendly service :)

Probably the best onigiri i had! This i a must stop place everytime i come to montreal ❤? portion size is great & everything taste fresh! 100% recommended
Such a lovely place. The matcha is really good, it actually tastes like matcha & not watered down milk like at so many other cafes. The onigiris are fresh & delicious. Excited to come here every time I'm in the area.
Absolutely delicious! Our favourite is the poulet frit. Staff are absolutely lovely. The cafe is calming & comforting. Such a beautiful corner of le Plateau.

Salmon onigiri was delicious. However, they didn't have wasabi & didn't offer soy sauce; we had to ask for it. The coffee was low quality, almost like water. The staff were very friendly. The place looks nice & authentic, but it was a scorching day close to 40°C, & there's no AC inside, so it felt extremely hot.
Came in to try the syphon coffee, we were told that there wasnt any done & that we could wait, which we did but then the employee seemed to have found an old batch & served us lukewarm, barely tasting coffee. Not enjoyable & not worth it.
Magnifique café japonais avec des options originales & délicieuses de café & boissons & de petit snack. Le kinako latte est délicieux, les onigiris aussi! Belle découverte!
Mes collègues & moi venons au Café Le Nigiriz depuis plus d'un an, & c'est toujours notre spot préféré. Leurs onigiris sont non seulement délicieux, mais aussi super esthétiques - de vraies petites oeuvres d'art. Ambiance cozy, service top - un vrai bijou caché à Montréal. Casually walked in for an evening snack. Tried the grilled salmon & the tuna-mayo onigiri. Had a lovely experience.
Definitely gonna visit again & try the rest.
A hidden gem forreal. Ran into this place by accident. It has boujee vibes but the price are so reasonable & the quality is just perfect! I would definitely want to go back again.
The Tuna & mayo onigiris were nice. The salmon onigiris were also delicious. The staff were nice & gave good advice. without me asking, one of them adviced me to warm my onigiri balls in the microwave if I was going to eat it the next day.
