La nourriture suscite des avis variés, allant du superbe au moyen ou décevant selon les visites, avec quelques plats qui arrivent tièdes ou des retards et des soucis de service lors de certaines occasions. Le cadre situé à l'intérieur de Holt Renfrew Ogilvy est pratique pour une pause après le shopping et l'ambiance est décrite comme chic et accueillante. Dans l'ensemble, Café Holt Ogilvy demeure un choix fiable pour un brunch raffiné ou une pause gourmandise, avec des possibilités d'amélioration en matière de cohérence entre l'ambiance et la qualité des plats.
Avant ou après une séance de shopping, c est l endroit parfait pour un lunch léger, dans une ambiance calme & un décor élégant. Également ouvert pour le brunch, samedi & dimanche seulement.
The service was good overall. The staff were friendly & attentive, but we did order extra fries that never arrived, which brought the experience down a bit.
The atmosphere wasn't as great as expected & felt a bit underwhelming for the location.
As for the food, it was very average & nothing particularly memorable.
Overall, a decent experience, but there's definitely room for improvement in both ambiance & food quality. We reserved in advance..
The service is amazing as well as the ambiance , but the food Im sorry Ive never had something so bad! Very deceived ! I got the benedicts with salmon , the salmon had such a strong smell as if it was spoiled, I also had the pancake which were so dry . The hot chocolate was also very bad it literally just tasted like milk , sad sad sad

Holt Cafe is racist! I visited the cafe after shopping at Holt,I don't drink so I settled for some Orange Juice & pancakes,the waitress proceeded to tell me they don't have OJ after 11am & that I should perhaps go around to eggspectation(which I love) for some! I was appalled & very disappointed by the incident that I ended up leaving!! I never went back again because I didn't feel welcome! It's unacceptable & I hope that those who are not welcome support businesses that treat them as valuable customers no matter their race!
In 17 years of living in Montreal, it is the first time I felt profiled by a racist white host David Lapierre telling me to bring my voice down while I was facetiming my dad & speaking arabic. I measure my words because half of the room was occupied by an event where people were litteraly shouting & you could barely hear yourself when you spoke to the person next to you. My last time at Holt.

Bel endroit pour faire une pause . Nous avons testé le service de thé. La nourriture est correcte, je n'ai pas été impressionnée. Le service était bien & la salle est magnifique.
You get one star for the atmosphere. The staff is extremely rude, the service is unacceptable, & they seem to think it's okay for guests to wait around for two hours with no one actually working. The food was also horrible-I personally don't like the new chef.

Very nice spot. Service was excellent. Was a little chilly in the restaurant on a cold winter day. The problem is with the food. Everything was luke warm...even the coffee. Disappointed
Café Holt is spectacular- always my go-to when in Montreal. The Caesar Salad with chicken was amazing! Marc, our server, made our experience extra special- he suggested a great wine, was attentive & so pleasant! Highly recommend this restaurant (& server, if you can get him)! :)
Located inside Ogilvy (Holt Renfrew), this spot is perfect for a drink or a bite after some luxury shopping. The staff is always friendly, & the drinks are excellent. My personal favorite is the passion fruit cocktail.
The food is also good, including their brunch options. It's the ideal place to sit with a friend, relax, & gossip about life.
My dear friend brought me here for my birthday lunch, & I was immediately impressed by how beautifully the café is designed - every detail was thoughtfully done. We ordered the truffle fries & the Cobb salad, & both were absolutely delicious.
What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service from Michelle. She was professional, warm, & genuinely thoughtful. She overheard my friend mentioning to the maître d' that it was my birthday, & to my surprise, she brought out some delicious macarons with a candle!
That small but heartfelt gesture made my day & truly elevated the entire experience. I hope the management recognizes how fortunate they are to have such a dedicated & professional person on their team. I'll definitely be coming back!
