This has easily become one of my favourite cafes in the area. The atmosphere is lovely, the staff are very kind, & the coffee/food is great!! I usually go to catch up on some work & it's a great spot for that-comfy seating, access to power outlets, & a little bit of liveliness without being packed!
The music is fun & different from classic'coffee shop music' (& sometimes a liiiiitle louder) so you might want to keep that in mind depending on the vibe you're looking for.
Overall-love love love!

On a street full of cafés, I didn't expect to find a place with such warm service & excellent music.
It was a pleasure to meet Fernanda! Her big smile will definitely make you want to come back.

My only concern is the music is a little loud & music genre is not related to the place vibes.

I LOVE this place but PLEASE LOWER the volume of the music. It doesn't suit the ambience to have pounding speakers. Otherwise I'd come everyday!

This was a perfect spot to wait out the rain on a gray day. It was quiet & cozy with good music & friendly service.

great atmosphere & music. the baristas are super cute & nice. had croissant, matcha & cortado & they were all delicious. lovely place :)

Tried this place for the first time today & we loved it!
As soon as we walked in, we were greeted by a warm decor with charming European/Portuguese touches.
The owner provided us with great service, & was patient & kind while we took some time to decide what we wanted.
I had a delicious nata straight from Portugal, & a perfectly balanced cortado made with smooth espresso.
The music also deserves an honourable mention; he has great taste & it only added to the atmosphere.
As soon as I was finished I was already looking forward to my next visit. Thank you!

Je suis allée l'autre jour découvrir ce nouvel espace (j'adore les cafés du Mile End). Je pensais que ce serait un endroit confortable pour travailler... mais je n'y suis pas restée très longtemps. Les pâtisseries sont ok, mais le grilled cheese était sans plus. En plus, les choix musicaux étaient distrayants & le volume trop fort.

Pierre was warm & welcoming as it happened also to be a very quiet day. I love this little cafe. Very eclectic with touches of Portugal, Natas, imported sardines & Portuguese delicacies. Music is soft & current, old world oil paintings on the walls & interspersed with black & white photos of seaside villages in Portugal.
I enjoyed my book, & a delectable hot London Fog tea.
I would have stayed all day but had some doggies that needed me.
