Dans l'ensemble, Café Chat L'Heureux est décrit comme un café à chats chaleureux où les minous sont adorables et bien soignés et le personnel est sympathique, offrant un espace relaxant pour se détendre en compagnie des chats; beaucoup louent l'ambiance calme, le service attentif et la variété de boissons et desserts, bien que les avis varient avec de longues attentes pour les commandes, du bruit occasionnel des enfants, et quelques préoccupations concernant la propreté ou le prix, certains trouvant l'endroit bondé ou la nourriture pas toujours mémorable.

Unlike many American cat cafés - which are often coffeeshops with a few pastries & a separate cat-meeting area - the Happy Cat Café is a full casual restaurant that has resident cats wandering around as they please. A few kitties were happy to be petted as I sat on a couch & had some tasty huevos rancheros. (& despite the cats, the space was very clean!) The human staff members were friendly, & service was quick. I'll definitely return during my next Montréal visit.

If you love cats this place is one you MUST visit! The Happy Cat Cafe is a cat cafe where you can enjoy excellent hand crafted drinks & food while furry friends walk & lounge around. I am always so delighted to visit here play with the cats. I also love drinking their chai lattes as well. Honestly an amazing place to visit if you love cats sometimes their can be a line up but it is worth it to visit the furry friends
I want to start by saying I love the concept & the mission of the cafe, however I would strongly encourage not allowing children under the age of 10-14 because of the things I saw at the cafe. A lot of parents unfortunately don't teach their children about boundaries with animals. I saw several children pestering the cats, running at them while shrieking & picking them up, along with endlessly following them around & constantly petting them while they're sleeping. As a fellow cat owner this was honestly upsetting because it could result in stress for the cats, the atmosphere itself is loud to begin with, now add kids on top of that. Some cats were very chill & didn't care, but I saw some running away, hiding under the couch & one fell while running up the counter.
The cats are definitely the stars of the cafe! They are soooo cute & friendly! My daughter was so thrilled to pet Luna & Luciole! There was a line already when we got there around 3pm, but it was worth it. The ambience is very cozy, & family friendly. Kids loves petting & taking pictures with the cats, who doesn't, right?!💕💕💕 & the food wasn't bad. Loved the grilled cheese & salad. We will definitely go back❤ Go check it out!🐱🐱🐱

Malheureusement, les avocats du sandwich de ma fille étaient rancis & chaque bouchée était pénible, ma fille & moi avons essayé d'en manger le plus possible mais c'était dégoûtant. Nous avons pris un chocolat chaud mais il était grumeleux & bien sûr, il y avait deux trois poils de chats sur le pain des sandwichs & dans la salade. En plus, ça sent la litière alors je me suis posée des questions sur l'hygiène. Mais bon, c'est un café des chats après tout, alors c'est au risque & péril des clients! Nous serons toutefois de retour car les chats sont adorables. Mais seulement pour un breuvage chaud.
It was a wonderful experience being at happy cat cafe, the cats are super friendly, very cute & very clean, beside the waitresses was very friendly & welcoming, thank you Mary you gave us a wonderful greeting & service. Definitely will be there at my free times it's worth it
Such a cute Cafe! Tasty grilled cheese sandwiches & chili, cute cats hanging out everywhere. There was a 15-20 minute wait at lunch time, but we were happy we got in.
Love this idea!! We visited family in Montreal & I came across Happy Cat Cafe when looking for things to do. This place was SO cute. Cutest location with a homey feel. All the cats are so friendly & cute. My partner & I enjoyed a late, pet & observed the cats in the cafe. We will definitely be back, we loved it here.
Super café charmant avec plusieurs chats. La nourriture est fraiche & excellente! les chats ont l'air bien traités & l'endroit est propre. Je recommande fortement!!
Quelle belle découverte en toute originalité. L'endroit est accueillant ainsi que son personnel. La nourriture est succulente, savoureuse... j'ai été charmé. & que dire de nos compagnons poilus qui sont tellement adorable. Quelle idée magnifique : un café avec les chats qui nous accompagnent. Bravo!

Wow une merveilleuse expérience j'adore les chats & se café nous offre de la zoothérapie tout en sirotant notre café préféré ou manger un petit quelques choses. C'est un endroit où on a envie d'y passer beaucoup de temps car la présence des chats nous apaise & nous réconforte. Les chats se promène librement & la salle à manger est aménagé pour faciliter le déplacement & le confort des chats & aussi des clients. Malgré que j'ai vécu une des plus belles expériences le seul point à souligner c'est que dans les toilettes sa sent la litière mais mise a par se petit désagrément qui n'est pas si grave à mon avis. C'est vraiment un endroit unique en sont genre. Un gros merci au employés qui mon offert un excellent service à la clientèle. J'ai trouvé que se café était très propre malgré la présence des félin cela doit être du à l'excellent travail des employés pour conserver cette endroit propre. À mon arrivée les clients attendait à l'extérieur alors peut-être prévoir un peu plus de temps si vous y allez le weekend.
Had a great experience here today with the kitties & staff, the owner is very involved & you can just see the love he shares with all the cats. They are so deeply loved & it shows through their multiple cat trees, hide outs, water fountains, snuffle toys, the "meet our cats" guide, toys available at the counter for them & so much more. This was my first experience at a cat cafe & I couldn't have expected more - such friendly, social & well cared for cats the owner is doing a fantastic job with the cafe & in providing a loving environment for the kitties. Sadly, Pistache had her tail pulled a minimum of 5 times in the span of time I was there by an unsupervised child, why do the parents not do something? Said child was helping themselves behind the counter to follow the cats, pull their tails & chase them when they were very clearly trying to get away from that specific patron. According to reviews, this is an ongoing issue & completely understand the owners hesitation to restrict the entry of children as the only way for them to learn is by interacting with them! However was still sad to see the stress of the kitties who were overall the MOST happy kitties I've ever seen! The owner is doing an amazing job, parents need to step up when it comes to their children.
The place is nice & it has a lot of potential but I saw several situations where the cats were very stressed. Not the place fault but I think the owner should consider not leave only 1 person doing all the work, may be not letting small kids ( I saw a little girl & her mother trying to catch a poor cat in a really bad way), other mother walking her baby in the middle of the tables (cats didnt have free way to go, waitress doing magic to deliver orders). It is a cat cafe, not a baby playground, what is wrong with people!. The food is good, coffee is delicious. Some cats needed to be cleaned, there was something stuck in their fur. The cats really behaved & they are gorgeous.
Lieu agréable ! Service un peu long & nos smoothies & café glacé n'étaient pas à notre goût.
Mais je recommande pour y passer un petit moment reposant.
