Très bonne expérience au café Aunja. Les ordinateurs ne sont pas permis, ce qui donne une ambiance très chaleureuse, els gens discutent, ça fait du bien. Décor, service & nourriture au top !
The rosemary cake was one of the best cakes I've ever had. The pastry was stupendous & spectacular. The vibes & warmth & coziness of the establishment were fantastic. The coffee was decent & the food was good with a nice variety of flavours that complemented each other. Also love the fantastic reads scattered all throughout the restaurant. I'd be back in a heartbeat for coffee & their desserts/pastries.
What's there not to like? I just finished having their Big Breakfast (not the actual name), & there is a flavour celebration in my mouth at the moment.
Charming, courteous service complements the food perfectly, while the ambiance & atmosphere are warm, quaint, rich & eminently suitable for reconnecting with a friend, reading, journaling, or plopping out the laptop & getting that one task done -- finish that document, compose that important email.
Now, kindly ignore all the positive things I have said so far, so I can find a seat when I come here next.
(All of that said, it would be even better if all the food items were about 10% less. It would make coming here & ordering even more of a no-brainer)
Such a lovely cafe. The space is so warm & welcoming - perfect for a cold, grey day. I had a breakfast & a Persian Fog (so delicious!) & spent some time reading & enjoying.
Nice place to chill, work, go on a first date, catch up with a friend. The Persian tea is great. Love the soups & sandwiches
The food exceeded my expectation. It was cute & homey. I really recommend.
This is a hidden gem of Montreal. I tried their persian fog & rose tea & they were both delicious. I have never tasted such a rich flavour of saffron jn a drink or a cake before. The design & colour & ambiance of this place was so beautiful.
Amazing cafe with lots of coffee & teas to choose from. The food was delicious & offered a variety. Very popular place so it gets busy quick but well worth the wait. Not a big place so it gets packed inside. Staff was very friendly & helpful.
A really interesting tea house.
Loved seeing & hearing the young crowd, seemingly mostly students. Interesting teas & small bites.
This cafe is just the best. It's got this chic middle eastern vibe going on which works perfect with the ambience. The food is fresh, although it's just sandwiches amongst solid food & rest are all drinks which are great too. They are generous with the amount & prices are reasonable too.
I vividly enjoyed my time there, especially coz of the atmosphere.
Best extravagant drinks, where I go for a treat with friends but not always the best to study in. Super pretty decorations
Great little study space!! Had the Persian fog which was amazing & the turkey sandwich. Their house sauce is amazing (in all the sandwiches) as well as their bread. Highly recommend
Gorgeous place & amazing food. The food is truly authentic. Got the Sholeh Zard, something I'm very picky about, & was not disappointed! Bought 3 more to share with my friends to show them what a true Persian dessert is like haha. If you're visiting on a weekend, have at least another place in mind because you might not find a table as it's a very popular but small space.
