The interior design is stunning & creates such a calming vibe that is hard to come by in such a busy part of town. I really enjoyed the selection of teas & the overall quietude of the space. It is a great spot to bring a book or just sit & enjoy the quiet for an hour or two. Highly recommended for a low key afternoon.
Quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Good coffee I recommend the flat white.
Expensive experience, but I would say for the most part it's worth it. As a student, the computer policy is a little confusing & inconsistent. I've had a good number of their drinks, overall tasted pretty good, except one time I was recommended a ginger tea, my throat & tongue hurt for the rest of the day. Other than that, only positive experiences.
The answer to extra stuff you will need is a hard NO with bad attitude. I understand they need to figure their inventory out & keep things for all the order but it is possible to say no with a better attitude. The hard NO would make me not to come back & not to recommend. DON'T GO THERE IF CUSTOMER SERVICE IS IMPORTANT TO YOU. Didn't enjoy the food because of the bad attitude. This is a resturant people customer service is required & people will ask for extra stuff.
Our friends from Ottawa recommended this café to us, & when we came to Montreal, we had to visit. The moment we walked in, we were charmed by how warm & cozy it felt , almost like stepping into a grandmother's home. Everything had a nostalgic touch, especially the sholeh zard I tried , it tasted just like my grandmother's. We truly enjoyed every moment & can't wait to come back!
I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant.
First of all, it's very strange (& honestly off-putting) that they ask for a tip before providing any service. That makes no sense & feels inappropriate.
Secondly, there's no basic setup on the tables - not even salt. You have to leave your table, go to the counter, & ask for them, you cannot find anything on counter.
As for the breakfast, the quality was very average. Nothing special, nothing memorable.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.
We had a lovely experience at this Persian café.
We started with black tea & saffron cake - the cake had a rich flavor without being overwhelming. The Persian fog was also very good. One of the highlights for me was the ferni; it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, & incredibly satisfying. The ginger tea was well-prepared too. Highly recommended
Very cozy coffee shop & a good study spot. The Persian perfume tea was amazing, very flavourful. Definitely recommend
A hidden gem full of Persian charm!
This super cute & uniquely designed Persian café completely stole my heart. The food was absolutely delicious, & the coffee-rich, aromatic, & bold-was exactly what I needed. ☕?
You can truly feel the soul of Persian culture here. The owner, an architect, has done an exceptional job creating a space that blends authenticity, beauty, & warmth in every detail. From the handpicked décor to the cozy ambiance, it's like stepping into a little piece of Iran.
Don't miss their wide selection of herbal hot & cold drinks-refreshing, soothing, & full of character! 🥤
Highly recommended if you're looking for a place that offers not just a meal, but an experience.
