Cafe aunja offers a very delicate & elegant Persian-inspired environment. It's a perfect place for afternoon tea. I tried their specialty tea - Persian Fragrance. An amazing combination of different flowers, a bit sourness from the lime, & a bit sweetness from honey. Highly recommended!
I came to the cafe with my little daughter, how much I enjoyed & it reminded me of my memories in Iran, wonderful cake & tea, I am very excited to come again. Highly recommend everyone to try this beautiful cafe.😊

I am in love with their sandwiches. I tried their vegetable sandwich & it contains pesto sauce which is so delicious. Also, their milkshake & persian fog which has a unique saffron & pistachio flavour & I would definitely recommend to try it.
Great little study space!! Had the Persian fog which was amazing & the turkey sandwich. Their house sauce is amazing (in all the sandwiches) as well as their bread. Highly recommend
The most amazing sandwich I have ever had in my life! The bread is amazing, the atmosphere is so warm & feels like home. It's often busy, & a bit slow to get served because of that, but it is worth the wait. There are so many options, but all are amazing & well worth the price. Big portions! The staff are all kind & welcoming, I highly recommend the veggie sandwich. Yum!!!
This is my go-to café downtown. It does get pretty crowded on the weekends, but for a good reason. Over the last year, I've tried their brunch items, sandwichs, teas, cold drinks, & desserts at this point, & I'd recommend anything on the menu. My personal favorites are the combo breakfast, the sholeh zard, & the London fog.
We ordered brunch through Uber Eats & the real star of the show was their saffron cake-unlike anything I've ever tasted! The cake was perfectly moist, with a delicate balance of sweetness & the distinct, luxurious flavor of saffron. Each bite felt like a little indulgence. It's clear that the ingredients are of the highest quality, & the attention to detail in every dish is evident. I can't recommend Café Aunja enough-if you're a fan of unique, flavorful desserts, the saffron cake is a must-try!

lovely place with a great old-style Persian breakfast serving Persian black tea. the cafe has a great unique design with lots of antiques & symbols of Iran that truly present Iran greatly. Truly recommend this cafe if you like to have an experience of Persian breakfast.
I had a fantastic experience at this Persian coffee shop! The Majoun smoothie was so refreshing & full of flavor. The Koukou chicken sandwich was perfectly seasoned & delicious. To top it off, the Ferni dessert was a delightful way to end the meal. The place is nicely decorated, creating a cozy atmosphere, & the staff were incredibly friendly. Highly recommend for anyone looking for authentic Persian flavors!

The quality of the food & drinks was excellent, & the cozy setting made it a perfect spot to relax. It truly feels like a home away from home. Visted as a family of four late morning, found via Google maps on a stroll Montreal. Positioned along a main road, down some stairs - sign posted really well. Iranian tea, lunch, & breakfast options available would highly recommend the breakfast menu available till 2pm. Service was ok, wasn't greated on arrival & found our own table, plenty of space at the back of the place too. Homemade lemonade would highly recommend. The bread tasted really fresh & was great. The sandwiches were really good value for money & really big! Could of shared one between two of us if we weren't really hungry! Omelettes came out in beautifully presented dishes & tasted really good. The decor inside was great- would definitely visit again!
J'adore ce café & son ambiance, la déco intérieure est vraiment très belle. Je recommande le sandwich falafel qui est vraiment succulent, même si un peu cher. C'est parfois un peu rempli, mais une place se libère toujours rapidement.
After visiting the Museum of Arts, we thought of having a light lunch & found a nearby place that was serving Persian dishes. We were intrigued by their name, the cuisine, the reviews, & the photos shared by people. When we entered the place, it felt as if we would sit there for hours without feeling bored! We ordered 2 sandwiches - a Falafel Sandwich & a Veg Grill Sandwich. Along with that, we ordered their sharbat. Boy, oh boy! What an experience it was! The bread, the pickle, & the veggies especially the falafel were yummy & healthy. The Persian Paradise Sharbat was as good as it's named & so was the Hibiscus Sharbat. I would certainly go there again & try out their dessert options as well. Highly recommended. Cheers!
