I visited Café Alphbet after seeing all the TikTok hype, & it definitely drew a crowd! I asked the barista for a suggestion & went with the holiday Greek coffee with a cream topping-it was like dessert in a cup & possibly a little to sweet for coffee. My boyfriend opted for the hot chocolate with the same cream topping & really enjoyed his as well. While it was a bit pricey & not the best coffee I had in Montréal, it was still delicious & worth trying. Be prepared to wait in line, though-the place is always busy. Coffee was very good. Had a flat white. My friend had same with but with plant milk . Which I found a bit pricey compared to other coffee roasters . Not sure why. It's the same plant based brand. There's a big choice right now in the city. A lot of good coffee places. & most coffee roasters do use double shots for their coffee . Not sure if I would go back.Voir plus

A staff was very good & enthusiastic (English speaking man, seems to be Italian?). I ordered a dirty chai freddo at first & gave a tip, but the taste was not for me, I didn't like it, I took a sip & returned it to the staff. I didn't ask them to remake it or compensate. The English speaking staff took the initiative to call me back & remade a sugar-free latte for me. He did a good job! I was not in a good mood at first, but he made me a new sugar-free latte & I felt his attitude & his enthusiasm. He said "they are happy if the customers are happy." I don't really care about a cup of coffee (I am a serious coffee lover), I think his attitude is very good & I am happy. I don't particularly like the taste of your coffee shop, but I like the attitude of this staff.Voir plus

I have to be honest that the freddo matcha & freddo cappuccino are both overrated & not worth it. Even if the proceeds are meant to go for good cause, the fundraising product should still be something enjoyable. For me personally, it was just half glass of foam & then half glass of ice with very little drinkable content. Their other products seem ok so I'll leave it for others to find out. Is it worth the hype? I would say YES, because i personally love their matcha flavor it's a strong bitter matcha flavor as I think they added sugar in it. But overall, Its definitely my taste & I would go back here for a matcha run when in Montréal.Voir plus

They're so quick so even if there's a small queue you'll be served fast. Everything was incredible & tasted amazing. The inside is so cozy & the staff is never rude no matter how chaotic the place can get. We got the freddo matcha & cap & it felt like sipping on a cloud.
