Review Summary

CA LEM Crèmerie Creamery draws praise for sophisticated, trendy flavors and a lively, welcoming atmosphere with a strong focus on real fruit and inventive options, including favorites like honey lavender, cantaloupe and strawberry with lychee and a variety of weekly soft serve flavors that are much anticipated even as the soft serve is currently closed; the croffles are also highlighted as incredible when available. The ice cream is frequently described as good value for the price, with vegan options and affordable portions, though some tasters felt certain sherbets were underwhelming and flavor availability could be limited. The experience can be busy with long lines and moments of service strain, yet staff are often noted for friendliness and efficiency, and many reviews still call it the best ice cream in the city and a must visit. Overall, the verdict is a mix of delight over creative flavors and quality dessert with occasional inconsistency and price concerns, but the appeal remains strong.

Calem is one of the go-to ice cream spot in Montreal! They always have interesting flavors. My personal go-tos are Pandan-Coco & Black Sesame. Definitely give it a try! The NDG location is actually very charming.

Why do we even need lactose!? To date, their Coco Pandan is my favorite ice cream. So interesting, creamy & refreshing.
