The menu showcases an expansive selection of soft serve ice cream, refreshing sorbets, and signature sundae creations topped with crunchy, textured elements. The aesthetic centers on a minimalist, modern environment designed to facilitate quick service and focused enjoyment of chilled desserts. Patrons encounter a variety of dairy-based and fruit-forward options that prioritize consistency in texture and temperature across the entire product lineup. These offerings cater to those seeking a contemporary take on classic cooling refreshments through bold presentation and precise preparation methods.
CA LEM Crèmerie Creamery is widely recognized as a top-tier destination for ice cream in Montreal, celebrated for its unique, artisanal, and frequently updated flavor profiles that cater to a wide range of tastes, including many impressive vegan and sorbet options. While many patrons praise the friendly staff, reasonable pricing, and vibrant atmosphere, some experiences are marred by inconsistent quality, long wait times during peak hours, and occasional frustrations regarding management policies or staffing levels. Despite mixed feedback on store maintenance and service efficiency, the majority of visitors find the imaginative and high-quality ice cream offerings to be a delicious, must-visit treat that keeps them coming back.
This lactose free ice cream was excellent. They offered unique & delicious flavors. My favorite that day was grapefruit. My friend enjoyed black sesame.
They have a large selection of flavors of ice cream to choose from. It makes you want to come back each time. I recommend this place for people that feel adventurous to try something new.
Calem is hands down my favorite ice cream spot in NDG! The ice cream is consistently amazing, with rich, high-quality flavors that never disappoint. One of the best things about this place is that they feature a new soft-serve flavor every week, so there's always something fun & different to try.
The staff are always friendly, & the atmosphere is welcoming. Whether you're stopping by for a classic scoop or the weekly soft serve, you really can't go wrong. If you're in NDG & love great ice cream, Calem is definitely worth a visit. I keep coming back, & it never disappoints!
This was an Oops of a choice, but not all Oops are bad. This was excellent & definitely worth returning many more times. We do not have this in Toronto so there you go. 100%to QUEBEC.
I completely underestimated Ca Lem's ice cream since there was no line that time.
I've tried dozens of ice cream shops in Montreal, including many of the highly rated spots on Google & the ones with incredibly long lines. But after trying Ca Lem, I can confidently say this is, by far, my number one soft serve ice cream spot in the city & in the entirety Canada.
It was so good. I absolutely loved it. The standout for me was the bubble gum & strawberry flavour combination-it was unique, nostalgic, & surprisingly delicious. Every bite was packed with flavour, it's not sweet, texture was good, strawberry was fresh & natural you can tell, easy to the throat, & perfectly balanced.
If you're in Montreal & love ice cream, do not skip this place. Highly, highly recommended. I'll definitely be back.
