Une buvette est une petite place où venir prendre un verre et un repas léger, en attendant un train ou avant d'aller voir un spectacle. Bien que la Chez Simone ne soit pas près d'une gare ou d'une salle de spectacle, il s'agit d'un bel ajout aux bars à vin de la ville. Avec une terrasse surplombant l'avenue du parc ainsi qu'un intérieur spacieux et invitant, la Buvette Chez Simone est l'endroit par excellence pour une soirée entre amis ou un verre en fin de soirée.

We stopped in for dinner, without reservations, & were able to get a seat at the bar. The ambiance was great - as another reviewer said, lively but also low-key. We had an assortment of meats, cheeses, & drinks, everything was phenomenal. I still think about the chicken liver mousse, truly decadent.Voir plus

Visiting from NYC, & stopped here based on a suggestion from a friend. Had the absolute best dinner. Neither my wife or I drink much wine, but we both really enjoyed the cocktails offered.Voir plus

Wow. Every dish we ordered was incredible. The star was the bar grille (sea bass). Crispy, delicious skin. Tender & flaky layers melted in your mouth. The beurre blanc sauce was heavenly. We literally were basically drinking the sauce after we finished the fish. Kefta was also so juicy & flavourful but couscous it was served with could have been better seasoned. Accra's were crispy & tasty. Fries were pretty mid, undercooked & over-seasoned (I know how that sounds) but the sauce was good. Drinks were good but very small glasses. Martini was not the best. This was my second visit & both times I left very impressed & would definitely go back again!Voir plus
