Go to place to watch the English Premier League. Great vibe, cheap pints, & good crowd. Aside from soccer the pub is also just a nice place to enjoy a beer.

I had an amazing experience at burgundy lion & a big part of that was thanks to Tony. From the moment we arrived, they were incredibly attentive, kind, & knowledgeable. They made sure we had everything we needed, checked in at just the right moments, & even took the time to recommend some fantastic drinks based on our preferences. Their expertise in cocktails & spirits was impressive, & they clearly have a deep passion for what they do. Beyond their professionalism, they created a warm & welcoming atmosphere, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. It's rare to find someone who combines great service with such genuine kindness. If you're looking for a place with exceptional service & a truly great team, this is it. I'll definitely be coming back! Highly recommend!
Amazing food & service! However, it is not a night club, therefore the music should not be pumping so loud that my partner & I have to yell at each other in order to have a conversation!
Nous sommes allé•es au Burgundy Lion avant d'aller voir un spectacle à côté au Corona. La bouffe était passable & le service bon, mais la musique était forte & l'atmosphère très bruyante. On avait aussi une table presque sous l'escalier, & on sentait les bourrasques de froid de la porte : on a eu froid tout le long.
Love coming here for a night out with the boys... atmosphere is great & service is always friendly. As for the food, we ordered 2 appetizers: the smoked sturgeon croquettes (amazing) & the ploughman's charcuterie & cheese (very good). I ordered steak frites for the main, & the only reason I gave the food 4 stars instead of 5 is that I found the portion a bit small, & the presentation could have been better... also, I don't know why the steak frites is on "market price" & I was surprised that it cost 42$. That aside, we had an amazing time, stayed for almost 5 hours, & will definitely be back
unfortunately, the food was overcooked & parts were burned. the rarebit sauce had completely dried up, as did the mushrooms. i complained & the server comped me a drink. i was happy.

Amazing place, service, food & drinks.I made a reservation for about 20 people & the service provided since the very first email answered was just great. They also made sure that we had all we needed during our celebration. This is the place you need to reserve for your events!
My coworker & I came here for lunch. It can get busy so make reservation or come before noon. The beers were cold & the food was good. He had the angus burger & I had the Bamger & Mash. It was good but I wouldn't order it the next time. The burger looks amazing though.
The drink selection here is fantastic! I loved the variety of beers & enjoyed the chill jazz music, which paired surprisingly well with the classic English pub interior. The ambience was unique & definitely a highlight of the visit. However, the food & service didn't meet my expectations. The burger was served cold, we had to ask spicy sauce just to add some flavour to meal. With some slight improvement in service this place definitely will become a #1 pub interior Montréal.
