Service was exceptional 11/10. Food was good. The Bangalore breakfast was truly memorable with the chicken Tikka Masala. The beans accomppanying the Full English were perhaps the low point of the food. Don't get me wrong: they were still okay but a little too much vinegar & a touch too sweet. The blood pudding , on the other hand, was excellent. Nicely spiced & very savoury. Good thing, the Burgundy Lion i a little out f the way for us, otherwise we would be there every weekend. The music, first impression a bit weird for a Sunday too loud too rock too strange .... Ok maybe this is heavy metal place ... Just weird for this time of day
Great Pub experience, the manager makes sure everything is running smoothly. He takes good care of the customers & also his staff & it shows. Cant wait to be back.
