Came to this place after hearing a lot in social media & with friends. If you're a sports fan, then this is a must go place. I went to watch Chelsea V Arsenal, where we drew 2-2, but still the atmosphere was lit. The game was followed by Rugby Semi Finals, & to my surprise the place was packed in all its 3 levels of storeys. You also get a selection of whiskeys, beers & basic cocktails. However the pricing is premium so I reckon you fill your wallet before you come here. I only was offered Breakfast Menu where there was options of Fish & Chips or Burger so cant say much on its food menu. Anyways, it's at least a must visit place for sports fanatics
We were a big group with babies & a child. The service was amazing, friendly, caring, fast, accommodating.
The food was very good. Excellent experience.

Quick service when we sat at the table at 6:15pm, ordered drinks & appetizers to share. Then waited quite a long time to be able to order our dinner. Online menu (on website the morning of) was showing a « Brandy chocolate mousse » which was not available!!
Finally had to wait another 20min to get our bill (had to get it at the bar count as we couldn’t get someone’s attention).
The ambiance at Burgundy Lion is extraordinary. The service is truly top-notch, with an exceptionally friendly & accommodating staff that elevates the overall experience. The atmosphere is epic. I highly recommend Burgundy Lion for an exceptional dining experience that checks all the boxes.
Always a great time at the Burgandy Lion! I had the pleasure at being at last night's scotch tasting featuring Glenallachie whiskies. Toby Lyle always makes everyone feel welcome, offers fantastic value & a chance to taste some amaaaaaazing whiskies as well as meet distillers & whisky ambassadors. Really so much fun to attend!

Toby is an amazing wealth of whiskey knowledge & can manage group dynamics through connection & storytelling . I would have appreciated more vege options for pairing although this was not what we came for honestly. Overall highly rated & I strongly suggest this as a group learning experience!
Was there with a friend last Saturday, went with my wife this Saturday, great place & food. The reason for the 4 stars is that the waitress could of smiled more.
First time eating here & was very pleased with my experience. The venue is very clean & well kept. Nice set up with a cool little terrace in the middle of the place with an open roof. Staff is very accommodating & polite which is a plus in my books. We were 4 people & all of our meals we’re phenomenal & full of flavour. We ordered 1 lamb shepherds pie, 2 salmon dishes & 1 fish & chips; no complaints. Good pricing as well for what for what you get & overall very good first impression & experience. Will be a returning for round 2 when in the area.
