We just got into Montreal & went here right after checking into our hotel. We were amazed that everything is vegan - & then even more amazed to find that all the food is wonderful! The Classic Poutine was rich & gorgeous. The burgers were all super good. In fact, I'm a vegan burger connoisseur & the Fiancé Burger was the best I've ever had! Recommend 100%!Voir plus

I sampled my first poutine in this Montreal establishment. Both the poutine & Caesar Salad proved enjoyable. The waitress proved especially helpful, as she offered two different sizes for both without prompting. I went with a small poutine & a large salad - a good choice given the heavy nature of poutine.Voir plus

The burger was mind blowing. Not kidding. The pulled « pork » burger was one of the yummiest I've had, the'I want this at my wedding' kind of good.
The fries however were really mid, & it really hindered the dish. They had no crisp & were not seasoned, although the mayo was alright. The poutine was also not really tasty. The bathroom are downstairs & were also a bit dirty & icky.
That's the only reason I'm taking 1 star out, but honestly the burger was insane. I do recommend checking it out!Voir plus

10/10 my favourite resturant as someone who is vegan the staff are nice, great variety of options! nice atmosphere for dine in, food is always still fresh even when you do take out. Their fiance poutine with the mock chicken & kimchi fries are my favourite ! Along with their old school burger & mamma mia burger. Floats are great tooVoir plus

I was really excited to go to Burger Fiance & try their burgers. We placed an order for vegan classics poutine (11$) , fiance burger (22$) & vegan sundae (12$).
Regarding food, I liked the burger, I mean it was of good size & had many things in it , I loved that they had onion ring in it & it was decent. But, the fries accompanying the burger were really greasy & they made me full, I just feel like they can be made better. Classic poutine was an average dish, it didn't sit well with my taste pallet. Loved, vegan sundae, it's really hard to find vegan vanilla ice cream usually & felt so good to have it.
About Ambiance & decor, it's cute & inviting I must say. They had outdoor seating as well. Music is good. Toilet were clean & they are in basement.
About service, I honestly felt that they treated us very differently. They didn't let us sit for long time even though they had empty tables & upon that after we were settled in a table, the waitress asked us to move to the corner table. &, an other waitress took our order & she took it wrong, I have no complaints about it because mistakes happen, I appreciate that the moment she realized it wasn't something we ordered she just replaced it, no fuss.
But, I wasn't given any cutlery or tissues. They just gave to my husband & not me. I was very disappointed with that. I just hope everyone is treated the same.Voir plus

My family members avoid eating meat whenever they can, I do not, but appreciate good food regardless. This place was close to our hotel & was decently priced. We wanted to try Monteal poutine before we left the city, so this looked like a good bet. Was it ever! Ordered their classic poutine, & their one with'pulled pork'. The crunchy capers & croutons add a delightful texture that makes each bite exciting. Friendly service. We ordered the Mamma Mia & Truffle burger, flavours were there but I find the impossible patties not thick enough to really taste them (considering the price) also the poutine fries were a little undercooked but gravy was delicious!Voir plus

Poutine in Montréal! I will remember this meal for a long time. The carmelized onions, the pulled "pork." The portion size was so big that there was enough to share with my husband. The only negative is that the bar is set way too high. Everything else will pale in comparison. Look this little gem of a restaurant up. It's easy to miss, not much signage in front. The vegan poutine was very good.. it had a nice tangy spiciness to it. The burger was a miss for me. I tried the truffle burger & there just wasn't very much flavor there. I removed the bottom bun & that helped. I think the Impossible patty would have been a huge improvement over the house patty. I'd like to try it again this way. I wish I could have ordered a side salad, but apparently, you can only get a smaller side as part of the meal. A full sized salad (or poutine) would have been too much food, & wasted.Voir plus

Vegan poutine was so good & tasted just like regular poutine. Had the cheeseburger with the house patty & was also really good, tasted like a smash burger. Onion rings were very tasty. My husband got the gyro & he really enjoyed it as well. Definitely would come back!Voir plus

Loved this place! Truffle burger was super tasty & had a great mix of textures with the onion ring & sauces. I'm glad we opted for the house patty. It had a really nice texture & flavor & was not dry at all. The poutine fiancé was huge, hearty, & full of flavor, with juicy & crispy seitan. The unexpected star of our dinner was the kale caesar salad. Nicely massaged kale, covered with a blend of "bacon" bits & capers. We were scraping the bowl! The berry & pistachio shake was also really good. We didn't catch our young server's name, but she was great & answered all our questions on quebeçois culture, too!Voir plus

Such a good little burger spot. My boyfriend who is not vegan actually asked to come back for a second time during our trip because he loved the poutine so much! First visit we dined in & it was amazing. The fiancée burger & fiancée poutine are so, so good. The 2nd time we got take out & unfortunately we were given inedible, extremely burnt onion rings. I am actually shocked that the kitchen would serve them to a customer.. We tried one & they were nasty & went straight to the garbage which is a let down as they were a $5 up charge. I would still go back but I'm super bummed that this happened.Voir plus
