I just had poutine for the first time at Burger Bar Montreal, & it did not disappoint! The combination of crispy fries, gooey cheese curds, & rich gravy was absolutely delicious. I can see why it's such a popular Canadian dish!
The flavors blended perfectly, & the portion size was generous. If you're new to poutine like I was, I highly recommend trying it here. A must-try experience in Montreal!View more

I've been to Burger Bar Crescent many times before. Tonight I had the supersonic burger & after finishing it I told my friends it's the best burger I've had in my life! The fries & onions rings were amazing too! The wait staff was friendly, attentive & efficient; not overbearing at all! The wait time wasn't too long either. I would highly recommend!View more

I recently visited Burger Bar Crescent in Montreal, & it was a pretty laid-back experience. The gin & tonic was strong, definitely catering to those who enjoy a bold/strong drink. I'm not mad at it.
One thing that stood out, though, is that they still use a QR code for the menu, which isn't my favorite. I much prefer a physical menu-there's something about flipping through one that just feels more comfortable & personal.
The Jack Daniel's wings were hands down the highlight-crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, with the perfect balance of sweetness & heat. They were delicious!
I also tried the Supersonic burger, which was decently sized & juicy, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. It was good, but a little more seasoning would have taken it to the next level. I'm curious to come back & try the burger that earned them the title of best burger in Montreal. The onion rings & fries were spot-on though-crispy & golden, just the way I like them.
The place was pretty quiet, giving it a relaxed vibe, & the service was friendly. Overall, Burger Bar Crescent is a solid choice for tasty wings & a chill atmosphere, though the burger didn't quite hit the mark for me.

It was on my bucket list to visit as I had been in Montreal a few times before. The restaurant was empty & could sit where I wanted. The staff were friendly & chill but nothing outstanding.
I ordered the poutine & a draft beer. The beer was fresh & excellent, the poutine was average & I think the burger bar can do a better job than this as Montreal is well known for its poutine & smoked meat. For the price, it was messy & while waiting for the kitchen to prepare my order, one employee was literally cleaning the ceiling above the stove & it didn't look hygienic which is the reason for not returning to this venue again. The area itself is funky, cool, vibrant in the weekend but perhaps another dish would have been a better choice? There is a decent burger menu so perhaps a choice.View more

I came in for a burger, sat at the bar, ordered & then waited 1 hour for the order to arrive! after 40 minutes , the waiter did stop by to apologize & explain that it is'busy' & wait is long. i understand, but why not tell me that when i came in? one hour wait for a burger is just too long. the food was ok, but i will not risk an hour wait again. pro tip for the resto: turn on CC subtitles on the TV, so at least the boredom of waiting so long in front of a TV with talking heads on it offers some actual entertainment that ppl can follow by reading the subtitles.View more

This place has some of the best burgers in the city. The service can be better. The burgers are all worth the dollars paid. They are delicious & size-appropriate. My personal favorites is the shenanigans burger & five cheese Mac & cheese. The service can improve. Before the pandemic, I would have recommended going to Burger Bar, but since closing a reopening, the service is a hit or miss. I attempted to order out after a hard work day. I was told 10-15 minutes, & I stepped outside to avoid blocking the entrance. I returned to be told the order was never sent to the kitchen. The only way my order would have made it to the kitchen was because the person who took my order never put it into the system. I was extremely upset & did not leave me wanting to return. I did return recently after another day of work & decided to dine at the bar to avoid another hangry situation. The barman was great. He greeted me with a smile & provided excellent service. Luckily, he restored faith in me that the restaurant hasn't gone down the tubes, & I will happily return to increase my rating to 5 stars in the future.View more

This was my first time at Burger Bar Crescent but had heard such good things so we went as a group of five for my birthday. The service was really good - our server was friendly & prompt, & had a great sense of humor. The atmosphere was great, with lots of people & good music but not too loud. & the food was absolutely delicious! I had the Jack Daniel's BBQ wings (spicy) to start & the flavor was so good! The classic double smash burger for my main was incredible! The char on the edges was perfect & it was so juicy! I would highly recommend! Their fries were a rustic style & perfectly salted. Les burgers sont vraiment bon rien a redire en revanche les frites étaient un peu mole dommage. Service au top j'étais au bar aucun soucis. Un peu cher tout de même mais c'est toujours à tester si on cherche un bon burgeView more

Love the food & had to come back after a few years. Couldn't stop remembering about it. The staff is super polite the food is great the atmosphere is def wonderful. I live in USA. & I get to Montreal at least 1 time a year or parts of Canadas East. The Burger bar is the 1 place I wanted to get back & have again but I'm glad I got to & bring my wife for her first try of real poutine. She loved it :-) will be back I'm hoping my next visitView more

Went during F1 weekend, so naturally had to wait for table. We opted for bar seats to soak in the Oilers game, & I am so glad we did. The dynamics of this place & two bartenders are a hoot. They were fluent & fun to watch, mixing up some serious beverages. I decided to hydrate with a long island iced tea, which turned into three. Unfortunately, I took zero photos but the burger I consumed was delicious. Not sure of the name, but it had bacon & over easy egg. My partner had double smashed burger with poutine. He loved it & pretty much inhaled it. I will make it a point to return here when in Montreal!View more

It was my friend & I's first time traveling to Montreal. After a day of walking we said we needed a good burger. Burger Bar as a 10 min walk from our hotel. I really like how Montreal utilizes their old buildings. A lot of restaurants are two floors. We were on the second for Burger Bar & had a window view of the street. The burgers we had were outstanding. I was debating if I wanted to try one of the mac & cheese's on the menu or the Brie cheese & Mushroom burger. I asked our waiter his opinion & he said hands down the brie & mushroom burger. I took this advice & It was truly one of the best burgers I ever had. Lots of options on the menu & a great spot!View more

Stopped in for a burger after an afternoon at the Museum of fine arts. I was so hungry I just needed to eat in a hurry. Sat at the bar & ordered quickly & got my food fast. The burger was cooked perfectly & really juicy. I'm glad I stopped in, I'll definitely come back again the next time I am in Montreal!View more

I've been to Burger Bar a few times in the past & always had a great experience however I was very disappointed yesterday.
For one, it was F1 weekend. Of course, we were not expecting it to be five star service seeing as it was intensely packed & noisy outside on Crescent. We entered the restaurant which was not as full as we thought it would be. The hostess asked how many people we were & my boyfriend replied 4. She immediately shook her head & said she would not have any room at all (which was odd because we did not see many people waiting upstairs or on the terrace) My boyfriend kindly replied that he did not mind waiting (this was probably due to our great past experiences there that we were willing to wait). The hostess was VERY cold & just looked at us & told us it would be a 45 minute wait (as though it would turn us off & we would leave because it was 9:15PM). We moved over to the bar area. We were seated in 15 mins so it did not take 45 minutes.
Our food was good. The spicy Jack Daniel's wings were not spicy at all. My Quebecois burger was delicious. We finished our meal & the restaurant was not so packed (there was 2 free tables near us). My boyfriend & I were super excited to have a dessert. We kindly asked the waitress for a dessert menu & she said we could not have dessert on F1 weekend. I didn't think anything of it until 3 women near us ordered the fried Mars bar. I was extremely angry. I explained to the waitress that it was very unfair to lie to us & she used some lame excuse & said that their waitress happened to be the manager & the manager had told the staff earlier that night no desserts allowed & she was essentially breaking her own rules.
She asked if I wanted to order dessert. I did not want to stay there any longer. We were ready to pay for dessert & a few more rounds. We took our money & tip somewhere it was much more welcomed. I was very disappointed & still am. I will not be going back because I feel like the staff was just annoyed with us. They were not friendly & were willing to let us go & due to bad service they just lost a regular.
I would highly recommend a change of staff. The bartenders however were extremely friendly (two women with glasses, one with shorter hair) they were great! The rest just treated us horribly.

Une très belle carte variée & avec des choix originaux. Les burgers sont énormes & que dire de la portion de frites qui l'accompagnent. Nous ne sommes jamais déçus de nos visites. Le service est impeccable, autant pour nous amener les commandes que desservir & remplir l'eau.
Très bonne idée d'offrir la variante de galette végé pour tous les burgers. Le pain a toujours une belle texture moelleuse & la galette de viande est juteuse. Les assaisonnements sont parfaits. Seule déception, à notre dernière visite, le burger avec mac&cheese avait été enlevé du menu.
L'ambiance est chaleureuse, tamisée mais le bar offre l'ambiance d'un bar sportif. Prix très abordables considérant l'emplacement.
Ce resto est mon adresse de référence pour les meilleurs burgers à Montréal!

Nous devions aller manger à un autre bar à burger tout près & finalement en passant devant le Burger Bar Crescent le menu nous a tout de suite attiré, & franchement nous n'avons pas regretter notre choix.
Service impeccable; rapide, souriant; à l'écoute. Elle nous a même servie des verres d'eau & des serviettes à main supplémentaires sans qu'on en fasse le demande !
Pour ce qui est de la bouffe, wow ! Top 3 des meilleurs burgers que j'ai mangé dans ma vie. Un beau gros, je l'accorde, mais avec la portion de frite (ou autre, au choix), c'était parfait ! Plusieurs choix aussi, il y en a pour tous les goûts !
Liste de cocktails & de bière assez satisfaisante aussi. Cocktail au gummy bear très sucré, comme je les aimes, miam!
La terrasse était déja ouverte à ce temps-ci de l'année c'était un peu froid, mais c'est une adresse à retenir pour l'été, Crescent est une très belle rue.
À noter que c'était pas mal occupé pour un lundi soir, alors je n'imagine pas les vendredi ou samedi soir...
Bonne adresse à retenir !
