WOW. This place absolutely amazed me. No exaggeration when I say this is on my Top 3 Restaurant Experiences in Montreal so far. Perfectly well-rounded experience - from the atmosphere, service to the food, no points were missed by Bungalow. The atmosphere felt a bit more like a bar than a restaurant but the hip effect worked either way. Some neat décor is used. Our server, Guilliame, was an absolute gem. Polite, professional & full of personality. I ordered the rotating pasta, it was a parpadelle with pesto, braised lamb & something else I forgot...but it was amazing! Had plenty of pasta in my life but never one quite like this. The best way I can describe the overall cuisine would be "Pan-European" - seems to centralize around Italian & French, with touches of Spanish & other international flavours. If you want to learn the definition of "Eclectic" when it comes to dining - come here. I could not stop talking about this place for a week after eating here. Spectacular resto! Everything is great: service, food, they even have a beautiful terrasse for Al Fresco dining. I had the foie gras & the hangar steak pared with a nice Pinot Noir. It was out of this world: you can taste the chef's passion. Everything on the plate was well thought out & seasoned to perfection. We'll see you again very soon!!Voir plus

We had a perfect Mother's Day dinner at Bungalow. We had the oysters, octopus, salmon sashimi, & pudding chômeur . I cannot say enough about how delicious & interesting each dish was. The servers all went above & beyond as well which is so important in my opinion. The price was what we have come to expect nowadays when going out to eat & it was worth every penny. We will be back!
La pieuvre est tout simplement INCROYABLE! Le service est très courtois & le restaurant est joli. Parcontre, nous avons été moins conquis par le reste des plats. Les calmars frits devraient être servis avec une mayo ou autre sauce. Le foie gras est bien, mais sans plus. J'ai trouvé le tartare de boeuf fade & ça m'a un peu dégoûté qu'il soit servit dans un os. De plus, la quantité de viande dans le plat d'agneau est peu généreuse pour le prix. Finalement, les frites étaient très ordinaires (sèches & aucunement salées). Allez-y pour la pieuvre!Voir plus

Une expérience hors de l'ordinaire Le Bungalow, un nom qui restera gravé longtemps dans notre mémoire. L'ambiance, le service extraordinaire & la nourriture exceptionnelle de l'entrée au dessert. Le pieuvre braisée est cuite à la perfection, le tartare de boeuf à la moelle est original & bien présenté, la côtelette d'agneau est ni plus ni moins que parfaite, les accompagnements sont exceptionnels, les cuissons sont très bien maîtrisées.
