It was a busy busy day when we visited, but they still made everything work. As a Filipino, the food is less salty than what we're used to, which isn't entirely bad, since the Kare-Kare hit but I lowkey wished for that Shrimp Paste taste (Customers around me, however, really loved it!). Kinilaw was perfect & refeshing, my friend enjoyedit a lot. Crinkles were awesome, & the ube-leche flan was delightful (the ube was so soft like spongecake). The halo-halo was so packed & I was so touched as I already completely forgot the last time I had this dessert. Anyway, so cute, would come again for bread & pastries. Check them outView more
Delicious! This was my first time at their new location, however I've eaten at Buboy's multiple times so far & it's always amazing. One of my favorite restaurants in Montreal.View more
Went to their new location at Place du Quartier & it was a great experience! The Pancit Canton was so good :)View more
Everything we ordered was so flavourful & authentic! The kinilaw with garlic rice was stellar. Only wish there were more places to sit, but we'll be back!View more
Out of all the food I had in Montreal…this was the best. Don't forget the Cantalope Juice.
& great service too! So nice!View more
We went to visit Montréal & one of our travel plans was to eat filipino food as there are not many of them in the Province of New Brunswick, where we reside. This was the first one we tried & we tried two other filipino restaurants after. We made sure to add it again to our itinerary before we left the city. Both times we ate at the establishment, we were served with excellent service & a very tasty dish. The crispy pork skin in the Kare Kare was cooked to perfection. A must place to eat!View more
Les mets pnoy icit sont délicieux! Les nouilles c'est wooowwwwww!View more
Their Pancit Canton reminded me so much of the Lucky Me version of the dish. Very tasty & the homemade noodles were nice & chewy.
Also had the grilled octopus kinilaw, very refreshing & a good amount of octopus!
Went there at 11:30am (since their typical hours start at 11am), & they were still closed & were opening later at 12. So i wish they posted that on Instagram before hand. Also they could post their new menu online.View more
Love Buboy. They even catered our wedding -& absolutely knocked it out of the park. Can't recommend them highly enoughView more
Room temperature was freezing...some rice was hard (either old rice or cold rice) I've ordered 3 plates unfortunately it wasn't hot but more likely between cold & warm ....felt like if I add 2 more minutes in the microwave it would have been hot enough. The sauce was gelatinous, probably not hot enough. Don't get me wrong, I love philipino food, but this time .....I was disappointed.... never have I ever had a plate semi hot & hard rice ...View more
Mouth-watering food. Couldn't decide what to eat but what we did get did NOT disappoint.. & what I saw from the other tables, anything I would have gotten would have been exceptional. I can't to try them all.View more
Saw this place on Social Media & decided to check it out with some friends & boy did we not regret it. Nice little Filipino restaurant that served what I'm told is authentic food & I believe it. I had the Pancit Canton which were stir fried noodles that were well seasoned & nicely spiced. I added Lechon for an extra 4$ & it added a nice meatyness & crunchiness that was complimented by the seasoning & texture of the noodles. Definitely worth coming here.View more
A one man show that was put very well together!! Our chef's cooking & customer service has been the best I ever received in a while. The bangus is AMAZING & crunchy (just how I like it). Longsilog brought me back to the good ol' days. I love the restaurant's vibe & decor. My fiance & I enjoyed our time!View more
I recently had the chance to try the boodle-feast (Kamayan) dining experience. It was an engaging & interactive meal, where I got to enjoy the food with my hands (plastic gloves were provided). The price tag was $60 per person, but the portion sizes were generous, making it a worthwhile & enjoyable experience. I loved the garlic rice & the deliciously charred meat.View more
On y retournera assurément.View more
I'd go there just for their bone broth! It's crazy good & he puts a lot of care into making it great! Great vibe! The food is really unique there, never tasted anything quite like what i had. Not vegetarian friendlyView more
