Welcome to the BreWskey Taproom, Montreal’s Old Port brewery!
Just four years since the opening of BreWskey pub, the Taproom opened in 2019 as an expansion of the pub, in order to accommodate our ever growing clientele. Above all, it is our passion for brewing that led us to create the new space: we can now brew our own products on site!
It has been a true labour of love, and the result is Old Montreal’s newest hot spot – seating for 100 people, open plan kitchen and brewery running at full steam, and a large outdoor terrace facing the port itself. It has quickly become a crucial destination spot in Old Montreal for lovers of top quality local beer and food.
And that’s what you’ll find flowing from our 30 beer taps: local and regional products we are proud to offer. Come and taste the best of Quebec at BreWskey Taproom in Old Montreal!

BreWskey Taproom offers a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere in the heart of Old Montreal, making it a favorite destination for both locals and visitors. The establishment is widely celebrated for its extensive and creative selection of craft beers, with standout options including the IPA flights, unique fruit-infused brews, and rich stouts. Patrons frequently enjoy the casual environment, particularly the outdoor seating areas that provide a perfect backdrop for socializing. While the food menu is often described as a great complement to the drinks, with highlights like the poutine, grilled cheese, and various sandwiches, the overall experience is defined by a relaxed vibe and knowledgeable service that consistently leaves a positive impression.
Stopped here for poutine & a couple of flights of beer. Really impressed by the strong selection of craft ales, including several brewed in?house. Service on the drinks was a little slow, but the food arrived quickly & the overall experience wasn't diluted. Great bar with a relaxed vibe - well worth a visit.
Bonne brasserie.
Such a fun spot. You can see into the brew room to watch the brewers work while drinking delicious beer. & the best poutine we had while visiting Montreal-I'll be dreaming about that meal for months!
Nice little brewpub outside Marché Bonsecours. Food was fine (I had a generous plate of poutine), with tourist pricing. Drinks & beer were very good. Hazy IPA & a Pale Ale were both outstanding. The atmosphere was a bit loud with construction going on a block or so away. Our server was very pleasant, helpful, & responsive.
