About us

Welcome to the BreWskey Taproom, Montreal’s Old Port brewery!

Just four years since the opening of BreWskey pub, the Taproom opened in 2019 as an expansion of the pub, in order to accommodate our ever growing clientele. Above all, it is our passion for brewing that led us to create the new space: we can now brew our own products on site!

It has been a true labour of love, and the result is Old Montreal’s newest hot spot – seating for 100 people, open plan kitchen and brewery running at full steam, and a large outdoor terrace facing the port itself. It has quickly become a crucial destination spot in Old Montreal for lovers of top quality local beer and food.

Dan & clem what are the most phenomenal hosts I've ever had at any bar restaurant anything they both deserve a raise & I will be returning to Montreal just to come visit this bar again

Nous avons découvert cette brasserie après avoir visité le Vieux-Port & sa grande roue. Nous n'avons pas testé le restaurant, mais côté bar, l'expérience était top.

BreWskey propose une sélection impressionnante de bières artisanales plus de 30 au choix, de mémoire ! Il y en a vraiment pour tous les goûts.
La déco est originale, avec une vue directe sur les cuves de fabrication, ce qui ajoute une touche authentique à l'endroit.

Mention spéciale pour les demoiselles du bar : accueillantes, souriantes & de bon conseil. Parfait pour une pause mousse dans une ambiance décontractée.

Wanted poutine & beer. But apparently they only serve poutine at the pub side. Not the tap room… sad.

But, really enjoyed their craft beer! A lot of them stood out & the creativity. Love trying new things.

J'ai découvert les bières smoothies à Montréal & cette brasserie est devenue ma préférée! A chaque visite de proches, je les amène découvrir ce bar! La déco est cool & il y a 3 bars en 1.

Sorry, but Taproom does not compare favourably to the original Brewskey Pub, at least tonight. Sat at the bar & was totally ignored by the bartender, even though it was later in the evening & not busy at all. We watched him pour his friend a drink & empty the dishwasher, not even glancing at us for a full five minutes. Finally left to go up to the original Brewskey. Better service & better music.

Great beer & atmosphere on the waterfront of old Montreal. Came in on a busy Sunday afternoon & had no problem getting a seat at the bar. The "Festivite" DDH IPA with Cascade & Southern Cross hops was excellent.

L'annexe est une salle parfaite pour accueillir un groupe de plus ou moins 25 personnes
& le service au bar est vraiment agréable!

Drinks are good. We were a group of 9. Went to grab 1 DRINK to wait the rain off. If you’re a cocktail drinker it almost feels frowned upon in this place. The bartender with tattoo on his nose litterally told us “we’re a brewery so we’re not trying to promote cocktails as much”. Asked him to put my friends drink on my tab, he put her bill infront of her…he really made it not a fun experience. We had our drink & left. Rude & negative energy even from the employees at the entrance

J'étais déjà allé au BreWskey pour prendre une verre, nous avons tenté l,expérience brunch & ce fut très positif ! Tentez le jerky de bacon !

Le serveur était seul en salle ce qui était trop peu quand le bar a commencé à se remplir. Quelques remarques un peu étranges de sa part, amis bon service globalement.
