Welcome to the BreWskey Taproom, Montreal’s Old Port brewery!
Just four years since the opening of BreWskey pub, the Taproom opened in 2019 as an expansion of the pub, in order to accommodate our ever growing clientele. Above all, it is our passion for brewing that led us to create the new space: we can now brew our own products on site!
It has been a true labour of love, and the result is Old Montreal’s newest hot spot – seating for 100 people, open plan kitchen and brewery running at full steam, and a large outdoor terrace facing the port itself. It has quickly become a crucial destination spot in Old Montreal for lovers of top quality local beer and food.
And that’s what you’ll find flowing from our 30 beer taps: local and regional products we are proud to offer. Come and taste the best of Quebec at BreWskey Taproom in Old Montreal!

This brewpub was a great place to enjoy craft beers, offering a wide variety of house?brewed selections & rotating taps. The decor is rustic but the ambiance is vibrant, making it a great pick for casual nights out. However, the food menu is quite limited, offering only a few core items.
Dan & clem what are the most phenomenal hosts I've ever had at any bar restaurant anything they both deserve a raise & I will be returning to Montreal just to come visit this bar again
Really good place to grab a beer in the Old Port! They've got a nice variety of craft brews & a chill vibe. The staff know their stuff & are super friendly. Food's alright, nothing amazing but goes well with the drinks. Can get a bit crowded on weekends, but overall a solid spot to hang out & enjoy a few pints.
A nice spot with two great patios & not really a'tourist trap' the way some other restaurants in the area can be.
The grilled cheese sandwichs are fantastic & the beer selection is great. It's a frequent stop for me when I'm in Montreal. Staff are great too but at very busy times it can be a little slower, as expected.
The food was good, the atmosphere was good. Two servers however were not nice & very impolite. Two thin guys with glasses, they left my finished drinks on the table, whenever I spoke they gave an attitude. Other than that the other servers were so kind & respectful wish I had the other servers serve me.
Nice little brewpub outside Marché Bonsecours. Food was fine (I had a generous plate of poutine), with tourist pricing. Drinks & beer were very good. Hazy IPA & a Pale Ale were both outstanding. The atmosphere was a bit loud with construction going on a block or so away. Our server was very pleasant, helpful, & responsive.
I wanted to like Brewsky, but it fell short. The bathrooms were in terrible condition. While the staff were friendly, the service was slow even though it wasn't busy. On top of that, the menu felt limited & the food was just okay - nothing that stood out.
Overall, it's an average spot that could be much better with cleaner facilities, faster service, & a stronger food selection.
I had the Radler & Brew Juice & they were both perfect. We also had the smoked beef grilled cheese & it was delicious. Great outdoor seating, service was wonderful & fast. Highly recommend.
