We had an amazing experience at this little pub. Claire was an exceptionally help for drinks & food recommendations. We had the wings & have to say they are definitely the best we've had in Montreal. Add some fries & a few beers & you got the makings for a night to remember. Claire thank you so much for being so friendly & helpful.

Great place to get wings, apps, comfort foods, & drinks. Lots of food options/customizations. I love their sauce options, & their specially made hot sauce. It packs both flavor & heat (for the real hot sauce lovers out there) without tasting like just another Tabasco type sauce (vinegar tasting). Drinks & service were on point. I really enjoyed their comedy night as well - I came on a Sunday evening. Hoping to return when I'm back in town.

What started as a completely impromptu decision turned into one of the highlights of my trip to Montreal! I randomly stumbled upon this comedy night at Brass Door Pub, & it exceeded all expectations.

The atmosphere was fantastic- casual, welcoming, & perfect for a fun, low-key night out. The crowd was great, the energy in the room was contagious, & the entire evening felt effortlessly enjoyable.The food was also surprisingly good. The mozzarella bites were absolutely delicious & paired perfectly with the drinks & the show. It's always a bonus when a venue delivers on both entertainment & food, & this place definitely did.

As for the comedy, every performer on the lineup brought something unique to the stage. The comedians were incredibly talented, & the show had the perfect balance of clever, spontaneous, & delightfully unhinged humor that kept the audience laughing throughout the night. You could tell everyone was having a genuinely good time, both on stage & off. There were audience from all over the world that night!

If you're looking for a relaxed night out that doesn't feel overly commercial or crowded, this is exactly the kind of hidden gem you want to find. Whether you're a comedy fan or just looking for something different to do in Montreal, I highly recommend checking it out. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in town!

Brass Door is exactly the kind of pub Crescent Street needed. It's got this really solid no nonsense vibe, great drinks, decent food & a crowd that just makes the whole place feel alive. We went on a Friday night & the energy in there was really good without being overwhelming. The bartenders were on it the whole night, drinks came fast & they were actually generous with the pours which you always appreciate. They've got a terrace too which is a great spot to post up when the weather is nice. Prices are very reasonable for the area which is a bonus considering how touristy Crescent can get. Live entertainment adds a lot to the atmosphere as well. Honestly just a really fun & unpretentious spot to grab some drinks with a group & have a good time. Will definitely be back next time I'm on Crescent.

First time here, ordered the nachos & 2 caesars.. had to be the worst nachos I have ever had. The ground beef was extremely burnt, barely any other toppings & the nacho chips were severely overcooked & stuck to the serving paper.
We were going to order more drinks but the server never came back.
$110 for burnt nachos & 2 Caesar's, yikes! Will not return.
