Hidden gem. Walked by & peeked in, the bartender Ed was so friendly & helped us pick a great beer to try. We didn't eat this time but we will be back for sure. Cute, cozy pub with friendly people. A must try!

We were in town from Buffalo for the Canadiens game for a few days. We had a wonderful 4 days in Montreal. I must say this was our best experience in the city. Our hotel was very near & we were walking by & saw a couple guys throwing snowballs outside the bar. We felt like it was a sign to come in to this beautiful establishment.
From the moment we walked in Ed & Kosta were magnificent bartenders & hosts from the moment we walked in. We talked a lot of hockey which we don't have much of an opportunity at home to do, because everyone hates the Sabres because we suck.
A classic pub with all the trappings: cheap wings, good drinks, Guinness on tap, subterranean, & a long-haired bartender with a good music playlist going. We stopped in for a casual bite & had a great time.
I definetly recommend this Pub to anyone on Crescent Street/Downtown. They serve variety of beers/drinks. What I would recommend to get once there is their Chicken Wings, they are known for that, it's hella of delicious. One note to the bartender from the 9th Dec, he is genuinely the best, he rocks at his job & has some positive vibe, people seem to enjoy sitting at the bar & he is one of the reasons customers are doing so ! The christmas lights have added some holidays vibes ! I will definetly be back & with more people.
Highly recommend this bar! Me & my buddy regret not finding it sooner on our trip. Everything about it makes the whole experience! Bartenders ED & Cooper are great guys & they will become one of the bros real quick! The wings are the best in town & the bourban BBQ is better than anything we have down in south Texas! The chefs & owner are all great people also very friendly internment all around! Definitely made our trip!
Exactly the kind of place I love: dark, a little dank & friendly as hell. Bartender really knew what he was doing & made the best old-fashioned I ever had which was surprising considering how far Montreal is from Kentucky. This place is very close to the college campus & yet is not overrun with loud obnoxious students.

This bar has the friendliest, kindest & most genuine bartenders I've come across. As a solo traveler this place was a true hidden gem I stumbled upon on a Saturday evening in Fall. I wish I had gotten the names of the bartenders but they were incredibly nice people. I had a couple of beers & the crowd here is good & almost feels like a neighborhood bar. Definitely coming back here when I'm in Montréal.
The Brass Door pub is a nice pub they have an exceptional amount of bar seating & group tables for the size & can't forget our bartender Griffin showed proper service while we were there & helped guide us around Montreal the best he could. Griffin & Jordan are the best bartenders👍

We came here twice during our stay & had the best bartender Jesse! He made the best out of a terrible rainy weather day. Thank you for your hospitality!! Jen & Will (Chicago)
Bartender & staff all sat at end of bar talking about how drunk/hungover/high they were. Place was empty. No atmosphere to speak of. Never got to place a food order but one of the staff members got food delivered to them. At least the quart bottles of Labatt 50 were cold.
Do you want to be around a bunch of people who speak the wrong version of French? Do you want to have the bartender ignore you because the regulars are jumping to black parade? Have I the place for you Nothing better than a bar where they don't really want you
Came here with a friend on a trip. Costa the bartender made our visit extremely memorable. He went out of his way to tell us good spots in the city. Very personable, professional, & great service. Would definitely come back for Costa
