The chicken & the calamari are delicious. Never had anything bad here. Reservations are a must. They have 2 seatings: 6 & 8 PM. The service is ok but a smile would help a lot. The prices have gone up & the size of the chicken has been getting smaller & smaller.
Sept 2021 - Now that Covid is in affect there seems to be a lack of staff. Had trouble with one staff member who did not speak any English. She wanted to remove my plate even though I was still eating. I even had to tell her to leave the salt & pepper on the table while I was still eating.
Our waiter was great & the atmosphere was good.
Food is still great.
We went back May 23,2026 & the food is as good as ever.

Nous avons passé une soirée extraordinaire. J'étais déjà allée à quelques reprises à ce restaurant en couple & j'avais toujours adoré l'expérience. Cette fois, j'avais réservé pour 11 personnes afin de souligner la fête de mes deux enfants, parce que je voulais absolument faire découvrir cet endroit à ma famille… & wow, nous n'avons pas été déçus !
Nous avons eu un accueil plus que chaleureux, une nourriture absolument délicieuse, & que dire du service… 100 % parfait !
Ma mère nous a quittés il y a peu de temps, donc pour nous, les anniversaires sans elle sont particulièrement difficiles… Mais Dedy a réussi à nous faire rire & à apportez cette folie & cette belle énergie que ma mère aurait su nous apportez elle aussi. ❤?
Merci du fond du coeur, de la part de toute ma famille. La soirée était parfaite & restera gravée dans nos souvenirs.

I was so impressed with everything. The warm ambiance & fresh food were both excellent. I loved the variety of dishes & the quality of the ingredients. The staff were very attentive & provided great service. A special place that I'll be telling everyone about.
Absolutely amazing experience. The chicken was outstanding-perfectly tender on the inside & incredibly crispy on the outside. Every bite was packed with flavor. The service was excellent, attentive without being overbearing. The atmosphere felt authentic & true to its roots, which made the whole experience even better. Everything we tried was delicious. Highly recommend!

Venu des Laurentides & en route pour le centre-ville, nous avons décidé de faire un stop dans ce restaurant Portugais. Excellente découverte. Le poulet était tendre & bien épicé ( a ma demande). La sangria etait excellente. Le service super. On a même eu droit a deux petites natas pour notre dessert.
Endroit très typique. Si vous êtes du coin, n hésiter pas une seconde.

You want real portuguese? This is the PLACE in Montreal. If you haven't tried it, you definitely should add it to your list. Best chicken on charcoal, delicious crispy fries & a lot of choices on the menu & best sangria. The all crew are amazing.
