Review Summary

Reviewers describe Boulangerie Pagé as offering excellent pastries and sandwiches with a very good coffee and a relaxing atmosphere, plus friendly staff; the suisse chocolate is highlighted as a standout. Some accounts praise the overall quality and calm setting in a nice neighborhood. However other experiences point to hygiene issues with flies around the pastry counter and several items not being fresh, including hard bread and croissants and dry pastries such as tiramisu; in some cases mold and spoilage were noted and returned at the counter. Prices are described by some as high for the majority of items, with uneven freshness across offerings. In sum, the place delivers enjoyable service and strong items for many customers, but inconsistency in freshness and hygiene and higher prices temper the impression.

A wonderful relaxing atmosphere with very pleasant staff. There's an excellent selection of pastries & sandwiches. The suisse chocolat is to die for. Obviously thinking of their customers' peace, all chairs have cushioned feet. All in a lovely neighbourhood.

I BEG please invest in something to keep the humidity in your breads & pastries. The flavor of my croissant was great but it was SO dry, its a shame I spend 5$ for it to be that dry. A humidifier in your display could reeeaally help your food quality

I had brunch here with a good friend yesterday. I enjoyed their carrot & leak soup with the leek bacon quiche. It was very tasty. I believe this to be a great hidden gem right in the heart of St- Lambert. As I did not indulge in any of the pastries this time around, asked whether this was the only location as I live in Montreal & was told by the owner that there are many other locations. I will certainly be returning. The owner was very kind as well as the cashier.
