Le pain est toujours frais, le service est courtois, & nous avons beaucoup de chance, à Verdun, d'avoir accès à une telle pépite. J'adore le pain qui tue & la baguette au miso.
Comment dire que cette pseudo boulangerie est du bas de gamme, accueil au'couteau' j'attends toujours que l'on me dise bonjour, des produits envahis de petites bêtes & un magasin sal. Bref à fuir .....
Le Toledo est mon'nouveau spot' pour les croissants aux amandes, les croissants jambon fromage & la fougasse aux olives. Tout est toujours frais & bon. Il y a bien eu quelques fois où ils n'avaient pas ce que je voulais quand je suis passé, mais c'est pardonné. C'est signe de succès, non? J'y ai aussi mangé quelques fois sur place. L'espace est restreint mais convivial & le personnel est toujours gentil & agréable.

La fraîcheur est toujours au rendez-vous!! La focaccia est absolument délicieuse 🤤🥰& le pain au chocolat un pur moment de joie! Également, le personnel est incroyablement accueillant, gentil & serviable. Leur sourire & leur bonne humeur rendent chaque visite encore plus agréable. ☺?

Mon conjoint viens de quitter la pâtisserie extrêmement déçue. Étant des habitants du coin, nous voulons encourager l'achat local mais Toledo c'est finit.
Mon conjoint voulais acheter un gâteau pour ma fête, il est allé au Toledo , il n'y avait aucune file quand il est rentré, il regardait les gâteaux, il ne savait pas qu'il devait choisir son gâteau avant d'aller à la caisse il pensait devoir dire à la personne à la caisse son choix de pâtisserie. Quand il a réalisé que ce n'était pas le cas il a laisser passer les deux madames qui était derrière lui & a abordé un employé pour passer sa commande & l'employé qui lui dit froidement il faut faire la file (car une file c'est formé entre temps)il essaye d'expliquer qu'il était là le premier & là l'employé réplique j'entends cela tous les jours. Je penses que la situation aurait pu être gérer différemment, ma famille & moi ne reviendrons plus.
Le personnel était très sympathique & donne envie de revenir. En étant français, le café allongé est très bon & c'est rare de trouver cela à Montréal. Je recommande

Was in the area waiting to meet someone, & thought I would grab a quick bite at this bakery.
I bought an assortment of 6 pastries but they charged me tax. After asking about why I had to pay tax when Quebec has a law that states when you buy 6 or more pastries, there is no tax, the cashier said it was only tax free if I bought 6 of the exact same product. I had never seen this from any other bakery before.
Regardless, the pastries are really expensive for what you get & did not stand out in particular compared to other bakeries. I ended up spending around 41 dollars for 6 pastries & a coffee which is just crazy for mid level stuff.
On top of this, one of the girls working in the coffee stall was very rude when I asked if my latte was ready after I came back from buying pastries.
Finally, there is almost nowhere to sit. Only around 8 seats total. All these factors just left a bad taste in my mouth. I won't be back.
Hidden Treasure in the City. I can't say they have the best bread in the city but Zi can say that all of their bread is superb, it's all sourdough, they have eccletic taste, such as miso baguette, exquisite pastries & gourmet smoked salmon sandwiches to go & a fantastic barristo bar & the ambiance is laid-back Wellington. Can't beat it.
