Camping ain't camping with good bread.
The Pullman from Guillaume is the only bread I'd bring on a multi-day trip. Perfect as toast, grilled cheese & french toast.
Ohhh & the White Chocolate Mushroom, I'll leave them to speak for themselves.Voir plus
Amazing selection of breads & other baked goodies! They have almost everything you can think of, from the classic pastries & breads to some remarkably innovative combinations. I was incredibly tempted by everything in the display case -- especially since the bakery smells like butter & sugar -- but eventually settled on their white chocolate brioche. The chocolate is mixed into the batter to give the entire roll a slightly sweet flavor, which is delightful when paired with the already soft, pillowy, & buttery brioche. I can't wait to go back & try more of their selection!Voir plus
Cheese croissant is just amazing here, white chocolate & vanilla mushroom too. They even have many types of sourdough & everything is freshly baked. Their olive ciabatta bread is just delicious. I visited the place many times & I got a very good service from the staff. I would really appreciate it. They recently released a new thing called browkie I guess brownie+cookie which is interesting. I definitely recommend this place if you love traditional sourdough & baguette.Voir plus
The bread is fine. Be warned that if you buy a loaf they won't slice it for you.Voir plus
Fresh croissants & bread! They open at 7 which is a plus if your up early!Voir plus
I absolutely love Guillaume Bakery! I went there with my nieces, & they became obsessed with the pastries. I also grabbed some croissants for my husband, & he's super picky about croissants, but these are his absolute favorite! Their sourdough bread with dates is my absolute favorite. We literally finished the loaf in one day-it was that good. We keep coming back because everything is consistently delicious, & it's become my go-to bakery. Sometimes I order from Uber Eats when I can't make it there in person. I can't recommend them enough!Voir plus
If only they had a machine to slice bread....
Everything else is 100% perfect 👍😅Voir plus
Second time there. We are from New Jersey & loaded up the car with a variety of breads & pastries. We had a great lunch & Charlie recommended a place for dinner that was authentic & very good. All of the staff is efficient, knowledgeable, smart! The hot cross buns really excited us. Can't wait to get home & try them!!!Voir plus
Guillaume Bakery is a must-visit for anyone who loves traditional French baking. From the moment you step inside, the aroma of freshly baked bread & the sleek yet cozy ambiance set the tone for a great experience. Their bread selection is outstanding, & I was blown away by their almond dessert, it was absolutely divine! Perfectly sweet, with a texture that melts in your mouth, it's a treat worth savoring. While the bakery doesn't offer a full dining-in experience, & there's only one chair available (not ideal for couples or groups), it's still a great spot to pick up some incredible items to enjoy elsewhere. Parking can be tricky as it's street-only with no private lot, so plan accordingly. What makes Guillaume even more special is their thoughtful details. They have a shelf stocked with unique products like coffee, pasta, maple butter, & more. There's also a fridge filled with cold drinks, Greek olives, & other goodies to complement your bakery haul. Their inclusive & friendly atmosphere, especially welcoming to individuals with special needs, adds a wonderful touch. If you're looking for high-quality baked goods, plus a little something extra, Guillaume Bakery won't disappoint! THIS IS ALI NOOR & THIS IS MY REVIEWVoir plus
Their breads are delicious but again, their inability to slice breads is an issue for meVoir plus
i really like their demi miche sourdough (especially the halloween version this week!) it's super airy & not too sour. I just think it's a bit ridiculous they don't have a bread slicer as such a popular bakery....keeps me from going back to buy the loafs very often honestly.Voir plus
I was really disappointed. My cheese croissant was so dry & dusty it disintegrated as I ate it & the chocolate bread was dry too. Maybe first thing in the morning the goods are better. There was a big line & it was busy, so there must be something good...Voir plus
Good assortment of breads & other goods, they don't have a bread slicer which is a shock for a bakery. Slightly expensive but they always have day old options which are well priced. Not a great baguette thoughVoir plus
Went a couple weeks ago , recommended by gentleman sitting next to us at Mandy's . Came back to town & my wife asked for the potato Cheddar bread to bring something back to Toronto , also got the brioche loaf to make francophone toast back home like they do in the shopVoir plus
As part of a food tour, this was one of our stops where we tried the White Chocolate & Vanilla Brioche Mushroom. So good!! I stopped by again this morning & bought 6 more plus coffee. All the breads in the store look amazing. A must stop if in Montreal.Voir plus
Good sourdough bread ( not super ) lots of good tasting bakery option. I recommend this place.Voir plus
Delicious, fresh, made daily pastry/bake shop. Unfortunately they just have outdoor seating & just two picnic tables, but they have lots of bread options from brioche to blueberry tarts, to croissants, to cinnamon bread, multigrain bread, baguettes, & more & more & more! Don't be confused. There is one entrance for the bakery & another couple doors down for the actual kitchen where they bake. Guy said it happens often.Voir plus
Get a load of bread here or you will regard itVoir plus
This used to be one of the best bakeries in the city. Now it's a dump run by air heads. Like everywhere, the prices have shot up astronomically. The quality of the products has diminished to the same degree & the service is just pathetic. If you want to pay ridiculous sums for bread that looks like someone or something has been snacking on it already then this is the place for you.Voir plus
One of my favourite bakeries to get fresh bread!! THE PERFECT bread for toast & one of my fav focaccia to pick up in town! their pastries are always great as well & they're hours are super convenient. Even with being open early until pretty late, the bread is always fresh every time i've visited! It's also super cool to see the bakery part of it a little further down the street :)Voir plus
Best chocolate brownies in Montreal! These brownies are amazing, super moist & chocolatey, with the perfect amount of salt. Boulangerie Guillaume is also a magnificent place for bread & the like. Unfortunately the service can be hit or miss, where sometimes you get greeted by a trendy stuck-up kid who has a hard time smiling, but that comes with the territory on the Plateau. Incomprehensibly, this bakery does not own a bread slicer machine, so they are incapable of pre-slicing their bread for you. 🤯Voir plus
Potato cheddar bread, GET IT IT'S SOOOO GOOD😋😋😋Voir plus
Love their chocolate sourdough. Don't miss it. Other breads are all good. The only downside is some staff could be mean to English speaker. Yesterday I went the staff cashing me out was rude & refused to speak English until I said I don't understand.Voir plus
It's a bakery. I want to give it four & a half, but it only had full Stars. The bread, the cakes & the sandwiches are delicious. They also serve coffee. If I am only buying bread, I prefer to pay cash, otherwise I have to fiddle around with the credit card reader, seeking out the no_tip button as I refuse to leave a tip to buy an everyday item of basic food. For coffee I will gladly leave a tip.Voir plus
Great selection of bread & sweets, i can't pass by that area without stopping by ! Beautiful space & well situated They are also available for delivery on uber which is super practical. Their chausson au pomme is amazing too :)Voir plus
I miss your torchon choco-orange. Please bring it back💔
Edit: but otherwise, I love this bakery with all my heart! The croissant, champignon, bread are all regular purchases. I carry around my Guillaume tote bag everywhere I go. I’m so glad Guillaume exists!Voir plus
They seem to be having staffing issues recently. Often only one or two people working, long wait. Wish there were more basic whole grain options for the bread; it's better for treats than for staple nutritionVoir plus
Always a pleasure to get good bread a sweets from this bakery!Voir plus
