If you want to have a gourmet experience that's the place to go, get the 5 or 8 course meal with agood bottle of wine. Excellent for special occasions, first dates or any occasion where you want to impress. The service is very attentive & the food is heavenly. I strongly recommend!View more
Comparing with other experience around the world with the same price range, the food is subpar from what you would expect. The gastronomic experience is not impressive (taste & visuals). You would make your own ambiance with your friends rather than the place making it for you. About 350$ for 2 persons having 5 services + some wine. One last thing I was sick after the meal & my partner was bloated...View more
A truly unforgettable experience! Credit to the front of house & kitchen teams alike. Party of 5 adults eating the 5 & 8 course tasting menus, with discovery & traditional wine pairings. Each course was delicious & well presented. Staff were extremely welcoming & knowledgeable about dishes/ingredients/wines. The atmosphere was classy. Some of the wine pairings were, shall we say, adventurous! Well done Buillon Bilk, we look forward to dining with you again!View more
I dined here on Sunday, May 25th during a recent visit to Montreal. I thought the food was executed very well. Almost perfect. Would have like to have seen a little more creativity & pushing the envelope, but there's never anything wrong with keeping it simple & executing it perfectly. I just wasn't really wowed by anything I had...apart from the foams & broths. The front of house service however, leaves VERY little to be desired. There were multiple times between courses where my guest & I were waiting for silverware as our food sat on the table. Also I had gotten up to use the bathroom & expected to find my napkin folded over my chair like most fine dining establishments, that was not the case. & in the most infuriating example, when my guest was looking for a white wine & wanted the white burgundy, the server repeated said that was more expensive. I'm having an 8 course tasting, I know how much the wine is, & I don't care. I've dined in many fine dining establishments, for work, academia, & pleasure. All-in-all, I think the food is great, but everything else is mid...I don't think I'll be returning, nor will I suggest this place to anyone else.View more
Here is a very decent option if you want to try different tastes!
Their dishes offer a creative mixture of flavors for the customer to enjoy!
I ordered the Rabit Pasta & it was delicious! Pleasant combination of flavors.
Staff are very nice & professional & they explain everything to you.
They have a wide variety of wines & cocktails.

Delicious dishes served by very competent, friendly & professional staff. Wide ranging wine menu with knowledgable sommelier. The scallops are a must. The tasting menu is adapted to dietary restrictions. Highly recommend.View more
The food was elevated & i love the fact that you can pair the food with non-alcoholics beverage. I choose the 5 services menu with non alcoholics beverages. I had a friend that took the discovery wines pairing. The food was amazing! However the pairings weren't all successful. I love the spot too, it's great for a date night or for any special occasion. It's a really good & unique experience :)View more
Nice dinner & service was good. Asked for wine recommendation & the suggestion was perfectView more
Must visit!! I did the 8 course tasting menu with the discovery wine pairings, which are all Canadian wines. The food was delicious, unique, & stunning. Each aspect was carefully thought out & not a detail overlooked. The staff was efficient, friendly, & perceptive. If you choose the tasting menu as well, be prepared to commit 2+ hours to fully enjoy the experience & don't drive. There's also a coat check, which alleviates the burden of the warming layers. I can't speak highly enough of this restaurant.View more
My wife & I had a lovely visit this evening. The food was exquisite, the cocktails were delicious, & the wine was perfect. It was clear that the staff enjoys working there, which made the experience all the more enjoyable!View more

Unbelievable meal. 8 course tasting with 7 course wine pairing. This surpasses Daniel in NYC. The flavors & presentation were exquisite. The flavors innovative. The service impeccable. Somehow they have managed a fine technique in a comfortable & relaxing atmosphere. This foodie knows her food. Trust me.View more
Our dinner was delightful. This was our first visit at the new location after many visits at the previous one. We were happy to see that the menu had many of our favorite dishes from the previous restaurant - specifically the eggplant & scallops (both pictured). The ambience of the new location certainly matches the food better than the old space did. The service was very attentive & warm. The sommelier recommended an excellent bottle of wine with our meal for my wife & I. Every plate was perfectly prepared & delicious. & the staff was even quick to change our table, at our request, when the neighboring table had a baby (who brings a 2 year old to a fine dinning restaurant for dinner?). All in all the meal & service was excellent. We look forward to our next visit back. Congratulations to Bouillon Bilk on the new location. We are very happy to have you back.View more
First, Uber still had the old location. Eventually made it to 22 Catherine but we wandered a bit trying to find a sign & building number. That's on us. But restaurant was not easy to find at night. We had the 8 course meal with wine pairing. It was enjoyable & food was great overall…main meat duck dish was a bit forgettable. Not my favorite. I typically love course meals & been to many Michelin rated places in the past. For some reason, the pace seemed a bit too slow? Even though I've had 3 hour course meals before. Don't know what it is. Anyway, overall, we enjoyed the meal. Can't quite give 5 stars due to reasons above.View more
Great place & food we received good service the wine pairings were excellent with the 8 course menuView more
Our go to for fine dining in Montreal. We had the 8 course tasting menu with Canadian wine pairings. Some spectacular pairings with innovative food. Service is delightful-proper yet relaxed. Not something you can afford every day, but well worth it for that special date night.View more
Have you ever been excited to go to a restaurant because of its reputation & then have been a little disappointed? That's how I felt about Bouillon Bilk. The food is good - notably the beef carpaccio style appetizer & the cappellitti were phenomenal. While I felt like the scallops & tuna were good- they lacked a little "je ne sais quoi". However, the reason for the 4 star really came down to experience. Unfortunately, no quality check was done for any of our meals & the runners were going over the dishes so quick as if really trying to get the job done as fast as possible. I will still recommend bouillon bilk - the quality of the produce is top notch & the wine selection is great!View more
An extraordinary dining experience, on every level! Perhaps the best I have ever had. We had the five course tasting menu with wine pairings. Each course was highly creative, with interesting colors, textures, & flavors. . .& always incredibly delicious. We enjoyed having both the Canadian & European wine pairings. They were so very different from one another, but both complemented the food perfectly. Kudos to the sommelier, Luec, who did an amazing job! The service could not have been better. Our server, Natalia, was so welcoming & professional, which elevated our experience to an even higher level. . .truly memorable. I would return to Montreal just to dine at Bouillon Bilk!View more
Every dish was absolutely delicious, the wine pairing was spot on, & the service was fantastic!View more
This is one of the best tables in Montreal & I stand by it - I've been dining at Bouillon Bilk for almost 10 years. If you like scallops, their version is a classic for a reason. Always perfectly cooked & paired with seasonal vegetables. Keep the bread to pick up all the delicious sauces that come with the dish. All the other entrees & main are good, creative & beautiful to look at. The service is premium - I never got a bad wine pairing with my meal. I highly recommend!View more
Top shelf restaurant with a great tasting menu, they even have a wine pairing menu for each course! Super delicious & little pricey but no complaints we had a lovely time & were full after our tasting they time the courses perfectly.View more
I've done the 8 course meal with the wine pairing twice at this place. Each time it's been an incredibly memorable experience & a gastronomic delight. Cannot recommend highly enough.View more
Excellent dining experience. Very elegant atmosphere & exquisite tasting menu. The food quality & wine selection are top notch! Highly recommend eating here once if you can.View more
Bouillon Bilk was the first time I ever experience French Food. We enjoyed the 5 course meal with the 5 European wine pairing. The food was truly out of this world, I never tasted flavors like we did. Not only was the food great, the staff were amazing as well. For an upscale French Restaurant, the staff & location was warm & inviting. A must go place if you're looking to treat yourself!View more
What an excellent dining experience! We did the 8 course set with a non-alcoholic drink pairing as well as the Canadian wine pairing. Almost all of the non-alcoholic drinks were fantastic (the mushroom kombu beverage was not good at all however) & the wine was expertly paired. The food was well thought out, beautifully presented, & had great flavours. It was contemporary but had classic but elevated flavours. Service was fantastic & the ambiance was okay. The food was the highlight of the experience, however, we would have opted for the 5-course instead of the 8-course in hindsight. The 3 additional dishes that we got as part of the 8-course were our least favourite (beets, trout, & chocolate). I would come back for a special occasion sometime. Prices are fair, & we left feeling quite full! 9.2/10!View more
The 5 courses menu & wine was delicious. We really enjoyed the experienceView more
This place is simply amazing. The food is creative & delicious. The service is attentive & friendly. The vibe is casual & cozy. The highlight of my meal was the foie gras dessert. Yeah, it sounds kind of wrong but tastes extremely right. Almost like a banana foster with duck liver instead of ton of butter. Wine list is impressive as well. They serve d'yquem for dessert if someone is willing to drop major bucks.View more
Like almost all the other reviews here say, this place is fantastic. The tasting menu was amazing & the bottle of wine the sommelier helped us pick went well with everything. The restaurant is elegant, & all the staff are very friendly & professional.View more
Lovely 5 course tasting menu. Beef finisher was fantastic. Wine pairings were good as wellView more
It's just very good. Service is very professional. Good wine list. Can be abit pricey, so heads up. I always come here when I'm in Montréal. Lunch & dinner menus are great. They serve French foods, having a la carte & prix fix. Good for special occasion or any occasion.View more
