Wonderful service, food & ambiance. We sat at the outdoor picnic tables under large umbrellas to hide from the hot sun. I gotta say that the fries, porchetta sandwich & club sandwich were amazing on the focaccia bread.
The waitress was so sweet to my dog & brought him dog treats which my dog greedily gobbled.
I didn't take pictures of my food but snapped an image of the menu. A big selection of chips, conserves & raw meat for the home. I'll be back to try the celery root terrine! The drinks looked lovely too.

I love Verdun Beef (& Verdun Beach, although, that's for another review) ! They have a great variety of cold cuts, imported & local foods, meat & meat products. Their sandwiches are amazing & come with a side of pickles & homemade chips (I particularly loved the St Brigid's that I believe has been removed from the menu, but you can buy the white ham there & make it at home). They also sell the focaccia (flavours are on a rotating basis) they use for their sandwiches as well as broth & soup, which are simply heavenly.

This place deserves that extra star... the products are very high quality & always a certain shot when you are looking for something special. Service is impeccable & the butchers are very knowledgeable. The sandwiches are also something else, definitely recommend paying them a visit.
New in Verdun- a Great addition. Place is friendly, clean & well garnished. Small quality meat counter, very clean & well stocked with all you need to make a great home meal-wine, veggies, & spices. My partner & I tried their wagu melted cheese sandwich, & we were not disappointed. Sandwich was tasty & delicious. The place has tables inside & a cute terrace on Wellington. The inside is spacious & can accommodate a crowd. Service was friendly & staff is open to getting you what you need, in case they don't have it at hand. Overall, our experience with this place was great. We are sure to go back for more tasty treats & for our meat needs.
Le Verdun Beef, est en soit une belle petite boucherie, charcuterie qui vous offre aussi de délicieux sandwichs & une gamme limité d'excellents vins pour accompagner vos viandes. Ainsi que d'autres produits maison. Le personnel est très sympathique & professionnel. Les viandes sont d'excellentes qualités. C'est toujours ce que l'on recherche dans une boucherie de quartier. La déco vieillotte m'a surpris, mois c'est ça qui fait son charme. J'y suis passé aujourd'hui & il tenait un stand de BBQ ......au menu ; Burger WAGYU & chips maison & limonade hibiscus............merveilleux, délicieux.
Magnifique endroit décoré avec tant de goût! J'ai envie de tout acheter & de tout goûter!!! J'y serai souvent cet été, allô les balades en vélo hihi! (On m'a conseillé le sandwich cold cut, hâte d'essayer! 😋)
La sandwich Cold Cut est délicieux! Foccacia tendre & moelleuse à souhait, avec une quantité généreuse de viande froide & un condiment de tomates séchées qui m'a vraiment comblée! J'ai pris un verre du bouillon du jour au boeuf d'inspiration Phô & ce fut un régal. La section caviste est également super garnie de vins hors du commun! & puis les paupiettes de porc farcies.... fut le clou de ma soirée entre amis hier! Savoureux & bien confectionnées, on sent l'amour dans leur plat. Ça vaut le détour en titi & ça fait du bien un commerce indépendant sur la Well! Très hâte à leur terrasse estivale également pour y prendre un café & y lire un bouquin 💕
