Bottega Pizzeria is a renowned, family-run restaurant located in the heart of Little Italy and Laval. It boasts a wide-ranging pallet of traditional Italian dishes, extending from authentic Neapolitan pizza to a selection of sfizi, Neapolitan-style tapas. A wood-burning oven imported from Naples enriches their cuisine, thereby rendering it true to its native region. The welcoming atmosphere is populated by a dedicated, engaging staff.
Bottega receives praise for authentic Italian pizza with a wood fired crust and a varied menu that includes arancini, meatballs, pizzas and pastas, with many calling the margherita among the best. Service is frequently described as fast and friendly, contributing to a welcoming atmosphere for families and groups, though several reviews mention noise, close seating, or occasional slow service and rushed table turnover. Value and pricing draw mixed reactions, with some diners calling it reasonable for the experience and others finding certain dishes overpriced or portions small. Overall, Bottega is widely regarded as a standout Napolitano pizza spot in Montreal, delivering consistent quality and warm hospitality, while a minority of visits describe disappointments with billing, service pace, or specific dishes.
I've been a regular for well over a decade, & I can not gush about this place more than I do. Great pizzas, the menu is amazing. The staff have never let me down. Lovely place to have a meal for a variety of reasons. 100% recommend.

First, such a great ambiance with a beautiful terrace & music.. Secondly, the pizzas are simply delicious. I made a slight request & the manager dealt with it with so much class & generosity; the service was simply impeccable.
Our server Adriana was extremely knowledgeable in regards to the menu, & the specials. Her wine suggestion was spot on, it was delicious, & we had two bottles! She was personable, polite, kind, & she took very good care of us! Thank you Adriana for a wonderful evening!
Buratta salad, arancini & margarita pizza were very good. Pizza is large enough to split between 2 especially when ordering an appetizer. Pistachio Gelato was delicious but pricey for gelato ($10 a scoop). Only complaint was that the 6 of us were seated next to the entrance & the waiters kept on bumping our chairs when moving behind us to get to other tables. The restaurant wasn't full & the table in front of us would have been a better placement since it remained empty all night.
Great food, great service! I must say that the Montreal branch food is a bit better than the Laval one. A must if you are in the area. The experience makes up for the lack of parking

Top 3 pizza in the large Montreal area . If I can be picky, dough was good but was missing a bit of air ( crust was full instead of being filled with large air bubble in true neapolitan style) , sauce lacked a hint of salt but I ate it all . Tiramisu was 12$ & was meh , no coffee flavor at all , the ladyfinger were like cake pieces . My friend had the homemade gelato & he was raving about it. Would go back for the excellent pizza but would not take the tiramisu ever again.
