Food: I really wanted to like BOSSA, but the spicy sausage sandwich was a miss. It sounded like the kind of order that should be rich, flavorful, & satisfying, but it ended up eating greasy & wet. The sausage was the biggest problem. Instead of having color, char, or a real browned edge, it came as a large rectangular patty that looked almost boiled. The flavor never really recovered from that, & the whole sandwich felt heavier than it was enjoyable.
Service: The staff were nice, which I appreciated. The issue was the wait. It took a long time, to the point where my friends who ordered from other spots had already finished eating by the time mine came out.
Summary: Nice people, but this order did not land for me. Between the long wait & the spicy sausage sandwich being greasy, wet, & underwhelming, I would not rush back for this one.
My favorite spot to get sandwiches! I absolutely love the chicken cutlet-it is definitely my favorite. I highly recommend getting the it. Since this spot is located inside Time Out Market, there is always plenty of seating available! the service was good & fast!
We tried Ciccio's & Bossa back to back. The bread is so much softer at Bossa & their flavors actually hit. Bossa's olive oil cake was lovely too. Portions were good.
Ciccio's bread is pretty tough like it was literally hurting our mouths to eat. & taste wise, it tastes fresh but it felt like nothing I couldn't just throw together myself with stuff from a grocery store.
If you can only pick one between the two Italian sandwich shops, go with Bossa.
