At BOSSA, we make sandwiches the right way: bold, generous, and full of heart.
What started as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop has grown into a small, family-run restaurant chain built on a simple idea: authentic products, prepared with care. Every sandwich is made with our own bread, baked fresh every morning in our bakery. From our homemade proteins to our sauces and toppings, we give the same care to every ingredient we serve.
BOSSA is widely praised for huge, generously packed Italian style sandwiches made to order with high quality ingredients, with many calling it the best in Montreal and nearby areas. Standouts include porchetta, diavolo, chicken parm and a rich array of fillings, and desserts such as tiramisu, cannoli and olive oil cake are highlighted as excellent. Portions are often described as so generous they can feed two, and the overall vibe is a lively, authentic deli with Italian groceries, great coffee and a friendly team. However long waits during peak hours and limited seating are common, and some reviews note occasional bread inconsistencies or a recent bread change before returning to form. A few isolated ordering hiccups are addressed by responsive staff and even owner intervention, leaving many satisfied and willing to return. The experience is considered worth the detour and the drive, with takeout and dine-in both recommended for a reliable, delicious sandwich fix.
High quality Italian deli, a must go-to in montreal. Plus they don't have that forced tipping on their card Machine which makes them my favourite place to grab a lunch. They also have good Fresh Italian pasta, treats & burrata at A reasonable price when you want something good to make at home.

I recommend the Meatball sandwich. If you're on a budget, & this place is pretty expensive, get the meatball sandwich. This meal will last you an entire day of eating. It's worth it, I promise. The wait is usually around 15 minutes for your food, so don't come here thinking that you'll be in & out.
Great vegetables sandwich. But eh, too much salt...:-( Nice atmosphere. Hip, young & swift service. I had a great sandwich but it was indeed too salty. & yes, a bit expensive too, at 14$.... I will try again & see if the salt-level was a fluke, or not...
It's really a hit a miss now. The quality has gone down. Sometimes I get a really fresh sandwich, & some other days my sandwich is not even toasted, has dry bread & meat. Very unpleasant.
Ordered some sandwiches for a family. Only tasted the chicken & vegetable ones this time. Can't wait to go back to taste others. There was a lineup on a Saturday afternoon.
