What started as a simple neighborhood sandwich shop has grown into a small, family-run restaurant chain built on a simple idea: authentic products, prepared with care. Every sandwich is made with our own bread, baked fresh every morning in our bakery. From our homemade proteins to our sauces and toppings, we give the same care to every ingredient we serve.
BOSSA is widely praised for huge, generously packed Italian style sandwiches made to order with high quality ingredients, with many calling it the best in Montreal and nearby areas. Standouts include porchetta, diavolo, chicken parm and a rich array of fillings, and desserts such as tiramisu, cannoli and olive oil cake are highlighted as excellent. However long waits during peak hours and limited seating are common, and some reviews note occasional bread inconsistencies or a recent bread change before returning to form. A few isolated ordering hiccups are addressed by responsive staff and even owner intervention, leaving many satisfied and willing to return. The experience is considered worth the detour and the drive, with takeout and dine-in both recommended for a reliable, delicious sandwich fix.
A while back, I visited Verdun with a friend, & we were searching for a quick bite. We ended up trying their *Roasted Chicken* sandwich, & it was absolutely delicious! The sandwich was a good size-filling enough that we shared one & still felt satisfied. Even though it's been some time since my visit, I still remember how tasty it was. I'd definitely go back if I'm in the area again!
Jai commandé un sandwich à la saucisse. Les aliments étaient d'une très grande qualité & le sandwich était délicieux! J'aurais normalement mis 4 étoiles, mais j'en enlève une car attendre plus de 20 minutes pour un sandwich pour emporter c'est bcp trop, surtout quand on n'a qu'une heure de pause pour manger. En plus, le sandwich n'était pas chaud comme supposé. Si on m'avait prévenu du temps que cette commande allait prendre, j'aurais pris un sandwich froid ou une salade & j'aurais probablement été bcp plus satisfaisante de mon expérience.

Le meilleur sandwich italien du Québec. Cet fait pour les grandes appétits. Le classique est le sandwich a la Porchetta, délicieux (sucré, piquant & croquant) & le staff te font sentir comme si tu étais à la maison.
Excellents produits & personnel sympathique. Par contre,l'attente est très longue pour des sandwich… 20 minutes alors que le restaurant est presque vide. L'ambiance est par contre très accueillante.
I want to say thanks to all the bossa team! I bought from the catering menu & it was an excellent experience, even went beyond my expectations, & the food was amazing! Thank you very much & congratulations for the great job!
Went In to get 2 cold type sandwiches.
Whatever it is they put In the sandwich is high quality products that are very fresh & they put in a generous amount.
They use a ciabatta that is wide enough to hold in everything where is doesn't fall out when you eat the sandwich.
The downer was that the ciabatta crust is not crusty at all which everyone likes . Crust & inside of the ciabatta was as soft & had a taste of a cheap white bread . A good cibatta is crusty on the outside & the inside is dense .
In other words what they use it a white bread shaped as a ciabatta , sadly it's a soggy sandwich.

I got 3 sandwiches to try this place for the first time with my Italian mother - mortadella, sausage rapini & Steak Pepperoni. These sandwiches were delicious!!! They were the best I had in a long time. Staff have a great vibe 🥇
Best sandwiches & even better staff! Niara & Maya were absolute gems. It was our first time visiting BOSSA & they were patient enough to walk us through the menu & even offered some personal recommendations. We will definitely be back! Merci!
