Good persian restaurant in Montreal with good Kebab, & this is coming from me, a persian. The kebab is very juicy, the rice is delicious & the portions are great for the price. Each food portion comes with a side of choice, for which I suggest you get the ASH. Bless this restaurant for reminding me of home.
There is nothing quite like a well-executed Persian meal, & tonight was a total triumph. From the rich, herbaceous depth of the Ash Reshte to the succulent, smoky notes of the Kobideh, every bite felt intentional & authentic. The rice was a fragrant cloud, & the saffron ice cream provided a golden, cooling finish. The warm service (shoutout to our lovely waitress!That smile…) made an already great meal feel like a special occasion. A neighborhood gem!

We had a quiet Sunday supper near the Christmas Holiday time. I was surprised that this restaurant was so quiet, with only three other tables occupied. The service provided by Mohamad & Mahin was simply a delight. It was as if our orders would arrive exactly at the right time without us having to request anything. We had the basic kebab Koubideh & it was absolutely gastronomic. Choice of salad, rice or half/half. The decorations was very festive, there was even a Christmas tree. I appreciated the historical wallpapers of Iran representing beautiful national sceneries & historical ruins. I'm not sure if it was such a pleasant experience because it was my first time, but I'm going to have to try it again to find out!

I recently visited Bonab Kabob on Sherbrooke St West in Montreal & had a great experience. I ordered the Bonab kebab with rice & salad along with a Persian Doogh, & everything was delicious. The portions were impressively large, definitely more than enough for one person.
We were served by Elmira, who was incredibly nice & attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. After our meal, she also brought us Persian tea, which was a lovely touch.
Overall, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, & the service was outstanding. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Persian cuisine!

Loved the quality of their food, they had the most fluffiest rice ever
Their food comes with either salad or ash reshteh
Had both & they were pretty decent
Their bonab negin dar could be improved but nothing wrong with it
I enjoyed my time there

Bonab Kebob is hands down one of the best Persian restaurants I've ever been to! The food is fresh, flavorful, & cooked to perfection. The kebabs are juicy & tender, especially the koobideh, which melts in your mouth. Their saffron rice is fragrant & pairs
perfectly with the grilled meats.
Beyond the food, the service is top-notch-friendly, attentive, & welcoming. The atmosphere is warm & inviting, making it a great spot for both casual meals & special occasions.

Super Persian food in the NDG district. We ordered the fantastic ash reshteh soup, joojeh kebab with bone & barg skewer, Served with ample rice & butter & sumac. The Persian tea at the end of the meal was wonderful, as was the baklava.

The atmosphere is pleasant, but the kebab was disappointing-it didn't taste authentic. Additionally, the rice had an unpleasant smell, which overall fell far below my expectations.

From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere & the aroma of freshly grilled kebabs set the tone for a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional! The koobideh was perfectly seasoned, tender, & juicy - easily the best I've had outside of Iran. The portions were generous, & the sides (especially the saffron rice & grilled tomatoes) complemented the meal beautifully. The service was attentive & friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of. The star of the show here is undoubtedly the kebab. I tried the Koobideh kebab, Tursh kebab,kebab Barg & it was simply sublime. The minced meat was expertly seasoned, perfectly grilled. Each bite was juicy & tender, accompanied by fluffy saffron rice that complemented the kebab beautifully. The grilled tomatoes & peppers on the side added a lovely smoky flavor that took the dish to another level. The menu features a variety of kebab options, including Joojeh kebab (chicken) & Barg kebab (lamb), all of which are marinated to perfection & cooked on a traditional skewer. The freshness of the ingredients is evident, & you can taste the love & care that goes into every dish. In addition to the kababs, I highly recommend trying the Mirza Ghasemi, a smoky eggplant dip, kashkBademjan , & Mast musir & their special Olive. The atmosphere is cozy, with Persian decor that creates a welcoming environment, making it perfect for a romantic dinner or a family gathering. The service was impeccable-attentive but not intrusive, making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our meal. beautiful place, they let me & my grandpa in before they were officially open (it was raining). We sat & talked before we ordered. the chicken kabob is delicious, served with rice & many more I didn't really enjoy the entry soup but I think it's because i'm not used to that type of spices, but if you enjoy Iranian soup, you should definitely try it very kind staff
This is a wonderful Persian restaurant. I find some Persian restaurants have an overly simple menu that is mostly kebabs & rice. This restaurant features a few appetizers & dishes I haven't seen on other Persian restaurant menus. The service was superb, almost overly formal but I really appreciate her charm. Besides the koobideh, the dishes are on the pricier side.
Got their Soltani kebab & Chenjeh. The taste was great, the portions were huge & we had to take some home. Keep in mind that we are 2 Iranian adults with not so small appetite :) Their Olive was great. Loved that they had a half- rice half-salad option & suggested that we get Aash, which was included in the price. The taste of the Aash was not something to write home about tbh.
