Good persian restaurant in Montreal with good Kebab, & this is coming from me, a persian. The kebab is very juicy, the rice is delicious & the portions are great for the price. Each food portion comes with a side of choice, for which I suggest you get the ASH. Bless this restaurant for reminding me of home.
There is nothing quite like a well-executed Persian meal, & tonight was a total triumph. From the rich, herbaceous depth of the Ash Reshte to the succulent, smoky notes of the Kobideh, every bite felt intentional & authentic. The rice was a fragrant cloud, & the saffron ice cream provided a golden, cooling finish. The warm service (shoutout to our lovely waitress!That smile…) made an already great meal feel like a special occasion. A neighborhood gem!

One of the best Persian restaurants in the city, have been there a few times.
Their eggplant + yogourt dish is amazing. They also have the best sour kebab with pomegranate molasses & amazing Persian olives!
I had a great experience at Bonab Kabob. I
ordered the koobideh mix with chicken & beef, along with the Kashke Bademjan, & everything was honestly delicious. The meat was well-seasoned, juicy, & cooked perfectly, & the Kashke Bademjan had amazing flavor & texture. On top of that, the service was excellent-everyone was very kind, attentive, & welcoming. I'll definitely be coming back & would recommend this place to anyone looking for solid Persian food & great service.
Excellent Persian food! The kebabs are perfectly grilled, juicy, & full of flavor. Fresh ingredients, generous portions, & friendly service. Highly recommended if you're looking for authentic Iranian cuisine in Montreal.

We had a truly fantastic lunch today (October 25, 2025) at Bonab Kabob Montreal, & we owe a huge thank you to Elmira!
Her warm welcome & professional service made our visit delightful. Elmira's knowledge of the menu (especially the kebabs) was very helpful, & her attention ensured our food arrived promptly. She is a valuable asset to this restaurant. We highly recommend Bonab Kabob for authentic Persian food & the wonderful hospitality provided by staff like Elmira. We will definitely be back!
Best Persian restaurant in town! After trying a few other Persian spots, none have come close to meeting my expectations like this one. The food is absolutely delicious, the portions are generous, & the prices offer great value for money.
Mahin provided excellent service. She was very kind, quick, & professional, making sure we had everything we needed. Even with only two waitresses working, the service was outstanding.
The decor is beautiful & creates a warm, authentic atmosphere, enhanced by the lovely traditional music. Thank you again for the amazing food & wonderful experience. Highly recommended!
This is a very high quality restaurant with authentic tastes of middle east, specially persian kebab. The staffs are super welcoming & do their best to serve & create an enjoyable environnement for the clients. I highly recommend not one time, many many times.

I recently visited Bonab Kabob on Sherbrooke St West in Montreal & had a great experience. I ordered the Bonab kebab with rice & salad along with a Persian Doogh, & everything was delicious. The portions were impressively large, definitely more than enough for one person.
We were served by Elmira, who was incredibly nice & attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. After our meal, she also brought us Persian tea, which was a lovely touch.
Overall, the food was excellent, the atmosphere was warm, & the service was outstanding. I strongly recommend this restaurant to anyone craving authentic Persian cuisine!
This place is truly a gem in Montreal! I love the attention to detail in the decor. Just look at that stunning ceiling! The authentic Persian music instantly transports you to another place, creating a warm & inviting atmosphere. Overall, everything was pleasant & enjoyable.
However, I did want to mention that there were some challenges with the service. Some guests at our table only spoke French, & the staff was unable to attend to them in their language, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, it was sometimes difficult to get the attention of the staff when needed, as they were often distracted behind the counter.
Despite these minor issues, I would definitely recommend this restaurant for its ambiance & authentic flavors.

One of our absolute favorite spots in Montreal!
Bonab is a gem of a Persian restaurant with incredibly kind & welcoming staff who always go out of their way to make us feel at home. It's a BYOW (bring your own wine) place, which makes it even more perfect for a fun evening with friends.
We usually go as a large group of 10 or more, & they handle everything so smoothly-from seating to service. The food is always fresh, authentic, & absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the love & tradition in every dish.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy amazing Iranian cuisine in a cozy & friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!
After 16 years in Montreal searching for a proper koubideh & being disappointed time & time again, I finally found the perfect one . tender, juicy, & full of flavour, just like it should be. The lamb koubideh was outstanding. We also tried the baghali polo, which was well-prepared. So glad to have discovered this place . it's a gem for Persian food lovers!
