The young waitress was so rude with us she didn't even try to speek a word of French to us, i mean such a bad attitude i don'treally know why she works with the public?The older waitress was super sweet,& the last time we went they had amazing thick,warm & crunchy Iranian pitas,this time they had dry cold regular greek style pitas??
The food is great but inconsistent, we will be triing other brochettes places.

I had a wonderful time at this Iranian restaurant! The food was incredibly delicious & made with top-quality ingredients ,you can truly taste the difference. Every dish was full of authentic flavor & beautifully prepared.

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff were kind, respectful, & made me feel very welcome. The food was delicious, well-portioned, & nicely presented with appropriate sides. The restaurant was clean & had a pleasant atmosphere. I will definitely be back & highly recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy authentic Iranian cuisine.
We had a great time at the restaurant! The main dish comes with your choice of ash or salad - we chose the ash, & it was absolutely delicious.
We ordered the Bonab kebab, which was flavorful. After the meal, they kindly offered complimentary tea.
The restaurant was clean, & the staff were very warm & welcoming. I was especially touched by the beautiful photos of Iranian cities hung on the wall- they added a charming & authentic atmosphere.

One of our absolute favorite spots in Montreal!
Bonab is a gem of a Persian restaurant with incredibly kind & welcoming staff who always go out of their way to make us feel at home. It's a BYOW (bring your own wine) place, which makes it even more perfect for a fun evening with friends.
We usually go as a large group of 10 or more, & they handle everything so smoothly-from seating to service. The food is always fresh, authentic, & absolutely delicious. You can truly taste the love & tradition in every dish.
Highly recommended for anyone looking to enjoy amazing Iranian cuisine in a cozy & friendly atmosphere. Can't wait to go back!

Fantastic atmosphere, amazing service
Kind staff we went with an 8 month old baby & we asked for hot water to warm up baby food & they had a baby high chair seat, & they were very kind & very polite.
Food was incredible, meat was extremely fresh & the rise was AAA quality.
Recommend to anyone who wants to try a real Iranian food with the taste of Iran & looking for quality, food made professional.
Bonab continues to impress iranians & guests of iranians alike with consistently juicy & flavourful kebabs.
This is a family favourite for the past four years & continues to be our go-to delivery whenever we have non Iranian guests.
While their lengthy menu has plenty of variety, the kebabs remain the jewels of the selection. Their jujeh (chicken) kebab is moist & full of aromatic saffron. Their beef kebabs are consistent & cooked well.
While their stews & appetizers are not as spectacular, they still offer a delicious variety. The Mirza Ghasemi by far being the best selection of appetizer.
Having dined inside, as well as taken to go, as well as asked for delivery, we are well acquainted with all mediums of order.
When dining in, the staff were not the most hospitable. Unsure if this would extend to non-persian speakers but since our first dine in experience we have had positive interactions over the phone & when taking to go. It remains to be seen if their in-person service has improved. We hope they continue to represent our culture in service as well as their amazing food.
Their delivery website works as a cheaper alternative to Uber. Despite the conveniences, tracking & customer support Uber offers, we hope that ordering from their website gives the proceeds directly to the business as opposed to intermediaries. We wish to support local & our own as much as possible.
All in all a positive experience & one that is frequently recommended as a staple of Montreal's Iranian community.
Mostly food is delicious, staff & services ok, atmosphere not bad, prices reasonable, staff needs more training as not to explain kebab barg to non Iranian guest as steak!!!! Are you serious, kebab barg has nothing to do with steak , neither shape nor taste.
Also when I asked why gheime doesn't have tiny fries on it, she said she can bring me normal big chips from pitza Tehroon, as if she doesn't know nothing from food.
Overally I recommend this restaurant if you are not too picky.
The Best Iranian Kebab in Montreal! I recently visited kebab Bonab in Montreal, & it absolutely lives up to its reputation as the #1 spot for authentic Iranian kebabs. From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere & the aroma of freshly grilled kebabs set the tone for a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional! The koobideh was perfectly seasoned, tender, & juicy - easily the best I've had outside of Iran. The portions were generous, & the sides (especially the saffron rice & grilled tomatoes) complemented the meal beautifully. The service was attentive & friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of. Whether you're looking for a taste of home or trying Persian cuisine for the first time, kebab Bonab is an absolute must-visit. Highly recommended for anyone who loves authentic, high-quality kebabs!
