Amazing place, great restaurant to test your Spanish. I really like the pabellón arepa here, it's the best.
Although the original spot is being renovated currently, it should be open soon, I ended up going to a temporary location down the street.
I really like the quality of the food & the chill atmosphere & will definitely stop by again.Voir plus
The food & service was excellent, the arepas were big enough with a lot of meatVoir plus
Merci!Voir plus
I really love Bocadillo, I've been loving it since before they changed locations. The sandwiches are super good & filling & feel very authentic, the sauces are also good, meat is very well cooked in my opinion, the plantains are to die for, I think everyone should try & Arepa from Bocadillo.
If there is one thing i would like to say tho is that it is very expensive, yesterday i got just the sandwich, it was 18 dollars before tax & tip & with tax & tip about 23-24. if you want a combo its about 25 WITHOUT tax & tip.
Don't get me wrong the sandwich is very delicious & is quite filling, but I think the price is too much for what we are getting. The thing is i think i would come back here way more often if it was less expensive. For students, this is unaffordable, for others, it is just overpriced.Voir plus
I spent 40 dollars on a very mid arepa & one very small appetizer that was basically 4 mini cheesy breads. They said they would give me 4 different types of fillings but I think they messed up the order. It had one chocolate filled one, I didn't finish it cause it was so tasteless. Sadly, I won't be coming back because the food wasn't worth the cost. I gave this place a shot cause Aprepera was closed :( I did take out so no comment about atmosphere.Voir plus
They just moved to a new location & it's not well identified yet. Just a few doors down from the original location. Had an arepa for then first time. Delicious!! The server was very helpful for the first timer that I was. Will go back!Voir plus
Good place, good music, tasty food. But the price is just not acceptable.
56$ for two plates of arepas with 6 pieces of fried plantains & avocado crema. No drinks.
Insane pricing.Voir plus
LOVED the arepa & platano maduro 😍😍 & that cilantro garlic sauce 🤤Voir plus
Tried the Arepa Pabellon, the platain sadly was not sweet & the avocado has a mushy texture. Unfortunately we didn't enjoy it as expected. Yuca was absolutely delicious & the green sauce super good!Voir plus
The Arepas were very flavorful & filling, especially the ones with fresh cheese. Good recommendations from the staff & friendly service too.
Servicio, cocina y ambiente: it's a solid 10/10Voir plus
Nice place, the arepa pabellon special was really filling, loved the arepa & the fries were so good! They mistakenly put avocado in one of the two & had to send it back (allergy) but was quickly replaced. Maybe a bit pricey for some options but great food.Voir plus
The best arepas ever! This is a must stop for me anytime I'm in mtl. Arepas are made fresh & the meats are super tender, Juicy, & seasoned to perfection. Portions are solid for the price & literally everything I've tried here has been a hit. If you've never had Venezuelan food, trying bocadillos will ensure you love it! Highly Recommend!Voir plus
Delicious Arepas! We got the Pabellon Deluxe & Pepito Cheese steak & it was very satisfying. On the expensive side for sandwiches but it's very filling! We also got a drink but we're not sure if we got the Parchita or Papelon. It was super refreshing regardless & so I would recommend trying their drink as well!Voir plus
We tried the pabellon deluxe & fried plantains. The plantains were enjoyable & perfectly ripe + sweet. The arepa itself, however, was lacking a little. The meat was well marinated but no sauce to bring other flavors. I also knock a star because it was quite pricey. The green sauce they gave on the side was mayo based & less flavorful than I've had before, plus there was no hot sauce. However there was a great atmosphere! We sat in the backyard terrasse which had lots of plants & cute tables. Fun music too! @thehungry.sheepVoir plus
Yummy rich arepas. Felt more like fast food place inside. Limited menu (maybe it's normal but it was mostly arepas with 6-7 filings in different combinations).Voir plus
Came here for dinner the other day & had their deluxe arepa combo with yuca fries & maracuya juice. Everything was phenomenal. Arepa was big & the yuca was so tasty! They have a lovely patio out front & plenty of seats inside with a second patio in the back. The service was very friendly & quick. Prices are a bit expensive but good for a treat once in a while.Voir plus
Love this place! It's a go to with friends or when someone from out of town is visiting. Great place for arepas, & I highly recommend their Yucca fries. The atmosphere is also great & service is friendly.Voir plus
Politesse service..
We were craving for some empanadas & we found this place. The food was great, the waitress & other workers were all super nice & attentive. We got our food quick. The food came hot & fresh. We had ordered some arepas, tequenos, empanadas & the steak sandwich & me & my friends really enjoyed it & we were so full. I will definitely come back with friends! The vibes were great here & the music was too 😊 Great Latino restaurant in Montreal! I recommend 100%!😋Voir plus
My go to Arepa place! I always get the deluxe! One is never enough for me, but a singular arepa is definitely filling.Voir plus
I have to say that this one of the best Latin restaurants I've tried in a long time, the food was excellent. I tried the Bunelos de Yuca for the first time & there crunchy & soft inside which was delicious, I also tried some of their arepas & they did not disappoint, definitely worth the visit!!Voir plus
Fresh, fast, & the sauce was delicious! Edit one year later: this is my favourite food spot in Montreal. I make sure to go here every time I visit. I take all my friends & the love it too! I always get the vegetarian arepa.
Had the Arepa with the Yuca fries (all gluten free). An unexpecting awesome combination.Voir plus
