Bleu Moutarde offers an elegant, welcoming atmosphere with attentive service and a warm, relaxed vibe on a terrace by the water with stunning views of the river and Mont Saint Hilaire. The menu features refined, flavorful dishes such as salmon tartare, lobster ravioli, bavette steak, mussels, escargots and os a moelle, all presented beautifully and described by guests as consistently delicious. The overall experience is defined by generous portions, careful plating, and a memorable setting that blends refined cuisine with friendly, professional service. The riverside patio, the view is a wonderful summer experience. Food is decent but not exceptional. Wine list has something for everyone. Service was good but mostly impersonal.
Trois etoiles seulement. Les moules semblaient avoir été réchauffées, les frites pailles bonnes mais servies avec parcimonie. Le steak de flan était très bon, le boudin aussi, mais le tout beaucoup trop cher pour le contenu de l'assiette. Dommage, car le site & le service étaient excellents.
Je donne quatre étoiles surtout pour le site enchanteur & le service attentionné. La cuisine nous a laissé sur notre appétit...la vinaigrette à la moutarde était trop présente dans la salade & les légumes étaient amollis. Le tartare de saumon était correct, petite portion sans trop de garnitures. Très bonnes frites! Bref, un peu dispendieux pour la qualité offerte.
Site exceptionnel. Entrées & desserts délicieux. Plats principaux décevants. Service déficient. Compte tenu du montant ($250 pour 2 personnes avec entrées, plats,dessert & une bouteille de vin à $45), c'est trop cher payé. Comme souvent, les portions de légumes sont anémiques alors qu'elles devraient constituer la moitié de l'assiette pour une alimentation saine.
Je n'ai pas aimé la dame qui nous a accueillis..froide & distante. Par contre le service aux tables est excellent. Le menu est dispendieux mais c'est très bon. Le panier de pain est sec & dur. Très belle terrasse fleurie & au bord du Richelieu.
