Overall, reviews describe a charming, well located setting at Bistro Le Relais with a clean, comfortable room and a very good restaurant, but recurring issues include an overpowering perfume on sheets and especially pillows that can cause headaches and disturb sleep; attempts to raise the concern with staff were reportedly dismissed; parking behind the building is difficult for visually impaired guests, and the check in sometimes left room details unclear with key handling not explained; the mattress feels old and saggy and the television offers only a couple of language options, which makes evenings less pleasant; signage at the entrance for room locations was missing; despite the room quirks, the restaurant is praised for its quality and ambiance and the central Knowlton location supports easy walks to cafes and shops.
This restaurant has never disappointed. Despite a fairly full terrace & one waiter, the service was fairly quick, very friendly & the foods was excelleny.
The choices on the new menu are great & everyone's meal was delicious! Our waiter Liam was as attentive & efficient as always. We are lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant in our town!
L'accueil fut attendu & jamais reçu. La nourriture était loin d'être exceptionnelle & le décore était style cantine. Une chance que ma compagne était incroyable!

Très bon restaurant des plats recherchés & succulents une ambiance chaleureuse & en toute simplicité. En plus, à un prix raisonnable pour la qualité du repas.
Great service, hospitality & food. The only deception was that my wife was set on having Fish & Chips yesterday evening it was also in part the reason for our outing. She loves this dish at Le Relais. Our reservation was for 6:30. The fish & chips were on the menu but to be told they were out of Fish & Chips. We felt it was early in the evening to be out of them. For the rest our order was good!
Nothing negative to report. The interior & relaxed ambiance is welcoming & comfortable. The hospitality & service, menu & food, are invitations for repeated visits. While in Knowlton, a meal at Le Relais Restaurant Bistro should not be missed.
