Bistro Có Út is frequently described as a warm, cozy neighborhood spot where authentic Vietnamese flavors meet generous portions and attentive service. Reviewers repeatedly praise fresh, homemade spring rolls and imperial rolls, flavorful pho and well balanced bowls, and a menu that also features popular dishes with a refined touch. The ambiance is often described as calm and intimate with tasteful plants and soft lighting, making it a good setting for casual dinners with friends or a relaxed date night, and the staff are noted for being friendly and patient. Several diners highlight high value for money, with ample portions and reasonable prices, while house made cocktails and a varied menu add extra appeal. A few notes mention slower service or cooler temperatures at peak times, but the overall sentiment centers on satisfying meals, fresh ingredients, and a welcoming dining room. With repeated visits mentioned and dishes singled out as standout choices like spring rolls, pho in a hot stone bowl, and seafood specials, Bistro Có Út emerges as a go to spot for those seeking classic Vietnamese comfort with a refined touch.
This really is the most delightful neighborhood restaurant. Filled with regulars because of the high quality food, fair prices & charming waiter staff. Great spot all around.
The food is good if you go for the pho. Some of the other dishes are hit or miss. the papaya salad, for example, lacked acidity. Overall a nice option in the area.

This is such a gem in Montreal serving authentic Vietnamese foods! The special pho (pho in stone bowl) - Phở Cô Út - is my favourite. It reminds me of my hometown - Hanoi. My partner ordered Bò Lúc Lắc & it was great too! Love the vibe & service. Highly recommended! 🫶
The best Northern Phở in Montreal. You guys have to try it when you are at Co Ut I marked my word because I'm Hanoian & only Co Ut brought me the tast of home, not more not less! I was so emotional. My boyfriend ordered Pas Thai, which was amazing as well. So sad our phones were dead to take pictures but yeah All dishes here were super full, tasty, & filling, worth the price. We are so grateful that the restaurant's owner let us try the iconic dessert: "Bánh Chuối w Ice Cream". Best of the best. Never leave the resto without trying it. The resto is beautiful, cozy luxurious, well design. People there are friendly. They recommend us with so much good food & we definitely will come back ❤️ Thank you for such a good dining experience

Got takeout imperial roll, only half cooked, soggy not crispy. White on one side. Peanut sauce chicken, the crispy spinach was also soggy not crispy. Place looked nice, service was fine. Food could be so much better if properly cooked. Disappointing after reading such good reviews.
