I had a really great time at Birdhouse watching the hockey game at the bar. The atmosphere was electric, packed house, tons of energy, & exactly what you want for game night. Even though it was completely full (not a seat available anywhere), the bar service kept things moving & the vibe stayed fun the whole time.
I especially want to shout out Daena & Clem. They were absolutely crushing it behind the bar, handling a massive crowd completely on their own. They stayed friendly, attentive, & efficient under a ton of pressure, which made the experience even better. Honestly, they deserve serious recognition, raises, promotions, something, because they were the reason the night went as smoothly as it did.
That said, there was one thing I witnessed that really left a bad taste. A manager, Chris, I believe, was extremely rude to them. He was talking down to them, being disrespectful, & acting completely unprofessional right in front of customers. It came off as condescending & frankly just unpleasant to watch, especially considering how hard they were working while he wasn't helping.
It's disappointing because everything else about the place was such a great experience. Those employees deserve appreciation, not to be treated poorly, especially in a packed restaurant where they're clearly holding things together.
Overall, I'd absolutely come back for the atmosphere & the bar staff, but management really needs to do better. A sincere apology to those employees would be a good start.
Woooooooow what an amazing place. I showed up at 9:15 on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but got a seat right away.
The ambiance was really nice. I like how they have a board that can be personalized & drinks as well with decals or text.
Our waiter Kai was amazing. Super helpful in navigating the menu & super accommodating when you dont know what to order. The whole menu looks delicious. Was super present & attentive towards us.
My friend ordered the nachos. I loved how light the chips were & how it was well balanced. I like how instead of it being'deep' theyre layered & youll always have toppings on every chip instead of heavy toppings & 80% chips like most places. I love how light & fresh they tasted.
I ordered the maple spicy winner winner chicken dinner items. I love how it was hot & a challenge to eat but not over bearing. I love how they start off a light coating of the sauce & give you extra to deep your meet that isn't sauced. The mountain of fried guarantees you dont leave hungry.
Overall really good place. You like chiken you like service with a personalized vibe this place is for you!
The service was excellent & the food was delicious.
We all had the fried chicken. Two orders were the regular fried chicken, one was the Nashville hot chicken, & mine was the hot honey. Everyone loved the chicken. The inside was juicy, & the outside was crispy. The Nashville was hot, but not excessively so. My hot honey was a combination of mildly sweet & hot.
The fries were delicious, but the coleslaw was lackluster.
The ambiance was comfortable, modern, & eclectic. The music was just a touch loud for regular conversation.
Like I already said the service was excellent, friendly, but a tiny bit slow.
Reservations are highly recommended, but beware when your 2 hours are up you need to leave as there was always a lineup.

The drinks, the food, the prices, the atmosphere, the people were all amazing!
The portions Woah! We were not expecting that, they actually give you a decent amount. The chicken wings are so delicious too 🤤

Honestly it's been a while since I've been at a place with great food, an amazing atmosphere, & most importantly the best staff. Luca was an amazing waiter & Chris did a fantastic job in making us feel welcomed & just an incredible character overall.This is the place to be!!
ma blonde & moi on est vraiment aller manger ici sur un coup de tête & honnêtement c'est rendu un de nos spots préféré!!!! les choux de bruxelles incroyables, les wings wow!! on a pris trois saveurs, bbq cherry coke, chip ketchup & sriracha lime & les trois etais 10/10! le service de Lyan encore meilleur, ils on eu l'honnêteté de nous dire qu'ils avaient échappé une aile en chemin vers notre table donc ils nous en ont apporté trois d'extra

Called Birdhouse for some information & Chris the manager's service was great! I will definitely order again. *UPDATE* ordered 2 times after that & asked for no tomatoes & my tacos still came with tomatoes! Very frustrating!
Cuisine ordinaire, les ailes n'avait rien de special & poulet frit fade. La poutine etait bonne mais celle a la moelle était pratiquement sans moelle. Serveurs fait plusieurs erreurs & n'est pas a l'écoute. En plus des regards croche du gérant pour je ne sait qu'elle raison. Je ne me sentais vraiment pas la bienvenue.
Tout était parfait sauf la serveuse qu'on a eu ! Ouff c'était pas une lumière!

On m'avait recommandé le Birdhouse pour l'ambiance, le service & bien entendu pour leur fameuses ailes & je n'ai pas été déçu!! Quelle belle découverte. Sans blague, ils s'occupent de leur clients comme si nous étions des amis. Vraiment à découvrir & j'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner. Merci au gérant & à Koko qui se sont occupés de notre groupe samedi soir.
Food was very fresh & delicious! Wings are delicious & the smash burger was sooo good. Was there with friends & we all enjoyed our food! Our waitress Alexandra was great too A+ :) we'll be back!
Première fois ici mais certainement pas ma dernière. La nourriture & les cocktails était excellente mais la cerise sur le sunday était vraiment notre serveuse Océanne était incroyable si vous avez la chance demander pour l'avoir.
