We visited the west island location last year & tried the Laval location this time & we were very happy we did
One word : Excellent
The hot maple chicken wings were an incredible blend of just the right amount of heat & the sweetness of a first quality local maple syrup.
We tried the Nashville hot fried chicken & the IPA fried chicken .
The spices mixture in the Nashville fried chicken was very reminiscent of the hot fried chicken I served at the iconic Hattie's in Nashville. It was to die for , three generous pieces of the crispiest chicken I have had in Quebec . Delicious & the juiciest chicken thigh I can recall .
The IPA chicken did not take a back door at all, equally delicious & moist , with a completely different recipe of spies .
We tried both the original poutine & the buffalo chicken poutine & could not decide which one was better !!
Excellent choice of cocktails both original & the classics are in the menu .
Service from Kostandina was very friendly, kind & professional . The restaurant's manager Chris kept a courteous & polite presence for all the guests
Definitely coming back to try the extensive menu & hopefully next time some dessert.

Portion sizes are very generous. The cauliflower tacos are excellent. The sweet potato fries are amazing. The Nashville fried chicken is very good but lacks heat level. The wings were disappointing. They lacked heat for buffalo wings & we're a little undercooked so we're definitely not fall off the bone. But the most disappointing was the poutine. Although they use home cut fries, they skimp on the cheese & the sauce is a little bland. Would go again for the tacos

Excellent resto, was there for a bday party. Service was a1 only thing for me with a heart condition to much fried food. I am scared to ask what oil they use. Good thing I do this once in a while. Even the next day the wings were good.
I've been to Restaurant Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar Centropolis Laval twice now, & both times I've been absolutely amazed. The Loaded Nachos are hands-down some of the best I've ever had, the Buffalo Mac & Cheese is comfort food taken to another level, & the Signature Fried Chicken portions are satisfying & often enough to take some home-all at very reasonable prices.
Service here deserves a spotlight. I've been lucky to be served by Koko & Alyssia, & as someone who worked as a waiter myself & received several accolades, I can honestly say it's been years since I've seen service this outstanding. They know the menu inside & out, their recommendations are spot on, & they are attentive, efficient, professional, & genuinely enthusiastic-a rare combination that makes dining here such a pleasure. In a world where many expect tips without effort, these two show what real hospitality looks like.
Birdhouse is more than just good food-it's a place with a lively, welcoming atmosphere & a team that works incredibly hard to make sure every guest leaves happy. My wife & I have already made it one of our favorite hangout spots, & I can't recommend it enough.

From the moment we walked into Birdhouse, we felt welcomed. The hostess greeted us with genuine warmth, asked if we were celebrating anything (my birthday! 🎉), & set the tone for the evening. The vibe was perfect: Alanis Morissette was playing when we arrived, & honestly, say no more.
Our waitress was outstanding. She was so helpful in guiding us through the menu & making our toddler feel completely at ease (he spent the rest of the evening trying his best to impress her).
The food was excellent. We started with melon mocktails - refreshing & not overly sweet. The pretzel with dill dip was a clear winner, & the hot n' honey edamame beans were addictive in the best way. The wings shine because of the sauces; I had the cherry cola flavor, which truly tasted like cherry cola but in a balanced, savory-sweet way. The cauliflower tacos were another highlight - the flash-fried cauliflower was airy & crisp, & the toppings had just the right sweet & spicy balance.
The portions are generous (our waitress warned us!), but we wanted to try as much as possible. The evening was capped off with a surprise praline cake for my birthday (such a thoughtful touch!)
Birdhouse exceeded my expectations with its atmosphere, food, & service. A big thank-you & shout-out to our amazing waitress. She made the night even more memorable. We'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.

If you want the best fried chicken in town, Birdhouse is a must! The cocktails are also prepared with excellent mixology skills. What elevated the experience to an ever higher level, was being served & taken care of by Olivier. He was such a delight to have for the evening; energetic, polite, kind, attentive & so much more! Definitely going back :)
Tried Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar at Centropolis Laval recently. The place is clean with a nice vibe & friendly service. We ordered the poutine, regular chicken wings, & the Nashville hot fried chicken dinner plate. Everything tasted good & well-prepared. Nothing was particularly unique or mind-blowing, but it's solid comfort food done right. A good spot if you're in the area & craving wings or fried chicken.
New restaurant in centropolis. The food was good. I preferred the chicken wings over the fried chicken.
The service was slow at first but faster at the end.
The group had mixed feelings but they should have had the fried chicken instead of hamburgers. I thought the fried chicken was awesome. Onion sticks were very ordinary & fries just ok. Really good spicy fried chicken. I wanted to try everything on that menu. Many choices of spices & sauces.
**Update GM Christ took time out of his night to have a nice chat with me & discuss my order & what went wrong, what a nice gesture of customer service... again points to the service category**
Sorry to say but I must have got a bad night This was unfortunately what I consider a waste of 70$
I ordered takeout for my family on site, two fried chicken meals & 1lb of wings. Both of which completely lacked any salt or seasonings... the wings were cooked fine (slightly over) & the prices of chicken were over (& burnt with black spots... normally chicken is golden brown & flakey, this was browned & black & hard) I was really looking forward to a promising new chicken place in laval (lord knows we're missing one) & this missed the mark. I can deal with cook issues, but it was the complete lack of flavor that got me, I'm sorry.
That being said, their gravy was the hero In this case. A perfect dark brown rich sauce with perfectly salted fries as a side.
The overall atmosphere & staff were impeccable. They have a gorgeous store & wait staff that were very polite & friendly even though I bought takeout.
Sorry to say but birdhouse being a specialty chicken place shouldn't be over cooking chicken (the skins were hard & burnt) & interms of flavors, there were no flavors it was just chicken not even salt... thank goodness for the gravy.
I'll update this review if I decide to go in-person for a beer & wings night.
