So I've been to the one in the West Island & it was amazing. The Laval one though, our experience was horrible. To start with we got the 3 piece chicken dinner & one of the pieces was raw, there was chicken juice & blood flowing out. We told our waitress & she gave us so much attitude, saying that that's how it supposed to be because it's fried, even tho the other two pieces were cooked correctly so that's not even true. Instead of trying to replace it she took the whole plate with the fries & coleslaw & never brought a replacement nor offered one, so we couldn't even eat the rest of the plate, instead she just offered a dessert. All of our glasses were empty & she never came to refill our water. At the end she came to pick up our plates & I told her to leave my plate of wings & fries because I was still eating & she took all the napkins, my fork & knife & my glass. Like she was in that much of a rush? I don't understand most of the tables were empty. & to make it worse she told me she would bring me another fork & knife & she never did. Despite the rest of the food being good I would not come back again. The service was bad & the attitude we were given was even worse. The waitress also said she took the charges off for the 3 piece dinner but instead just waived the mozzarella sticks.
Woooooooow what an amazing place. I showed up at 9:15 on a Saturday. It was pretty busy but got a seat right away.
The ambiance was really nice. I like how they have a board that can be personalized & drinks as well with decals or text.
Our waiter Kai was amazing. Super helpful in navigating the menu & super accommodating when you dont know what to order. The whole menu looks delicious. Was super present & attentive towards us.
My friend ordered the nachos. I loved how light the chips were & how it was well balanced. I like how instead of it being'deep' theyre layered & youll always have toppings on every chip instead of heavy toppings & 80% chips like most places. I love how light & fresh they tasted.
I ordered the maple spicy winner winner chicken dinner items. I love how it was hot & a challenge to eat but not over bearing. I love how they start off a light coating of the sauce & give you extra to deep your meet that isn't sauced. The mountain of fried guarantees you dont leave hungry.
Overall really good place. You like chiken you like service with a personalized vibe this place is for you!

The service was excellent & the food was delicious.
We all had the fried chicken. Two orders were the regular fried chicken, one was the Nashville hot chicken, & mine was the hot honey. Everyone loved the chicken. The inside was juicy, & the outside was crispy. The Nashville was hot, but not excessively so. My hot honey was a combination of mildly sweet & hot.
The fries were delicious, but the coleslaw was lackluster.
The ambiance was comfortable, modern, & eclectic. The music was just a touch loud for regular conversation.
Like I already said the service was excellent, friendly, but a tiny bit slow.
Reservations are highly recommended, but beware when your 2 hours are up you need to leave as there was always a lineup.
We visited the west island location last year & tried the Laval location this time & we were very happy we did

The hot maple chicken wings were an incredible blend of just the right amount of heat & the sweetness of a first quality local maple syrup.
We tried the Nashville hot fried chicken & the IPA fried chicken .
The spices mixture in the Nashville fried chicken was very reminiscent of the hot fried chicken I served at the iconic Hattie's in Nashville. It was to die for , three generous pieces of the crispiest chicken I have had in Quebec . Delicious & the juiciest chicken thigh I can recall .
The IPA chicken did not take a back door at all, equally delicious & moist , with a completely different recipe of spies .
We tried both the original poutine & the buffalo chicken poutine & could not decide which one was better !!
Excellent choice of cocktails both original & the classics are in the menu .
Service from Kostandina was very friendly, kind & professional . The restaurant's manager Chris kept a courteous & polite presence for all the guests
Definitely coming back to try the extensive menu & hopefully next time some dessert.
A wonderful place & a fabulous experience
Portion sizes are very generous. The cauliflower tacos are excellent. The sweet potato fries are amazing. The Nashville fried chicken is very good but lacks heat level. The wings were disappointing. They lacked heat for buffalo wings & we're a little undercooked so we're definitely not fall off the bone. But the most disappointing was the poutine. Although they use home cut fries, they skimp on the cheese & the sauce is a little bland. Would go again for the tacos

Excellent resto, was there for a bday party. Service was a1 only thing for me with a heart condition to much fried food. I am scared to ask what oil they use. Good thing I do this once in a while. Even the next day the wings were good.
I've been to Restaurant Birdhouse Wingerie & Bar Centropolis Laval twice now, & both times I've been absolutely amazed. The Loaded Nachos are hands-down some of the best I've ever had, the Buffalo Mac & Cheese is comfort food taken to another level, & the Signature Fried Chicken portions are satisfying & often enough to take some home-all at very reasonable prices.
Service here deserves a spotlight. I've been lucky to be served by Koko & Alyssia, & as someone who worked as a waiter myself & received several accolades, I can honestly say it's been years since I've seen service this outstanding. They know the menu inside & out, their recommendations are spot on, & they are attentive, efficient, professional, & genuinely enthusiastic-a rare combination that makes dining here such a pleasure. In a world where many expect tips without effort, these two show what real hospitality looks like.
Birdhouse is more than just good food-it's a place with a lively, welcoming atmosphere & a team that works incredibly hard to make sure every guest leaves happy. My wife & I have already made it one of our favorite hangout spots, & I can't recommend it enough.
A+ food, A+ service, A+ atmosphere, & great value. Birdhouse Centropolis is the real deal.
