Fondé par les frères Pier Paolo et Davide, le restaurant célèbre les racines italiennes à travers la culture de l'aperitivo, des saveurs audacieuses et une touche d'espièglerie. When we got to the restaurant, the person who brought us to our table was not very communicative when trying to talk to them; Which made it feel awkward. I was very disappointed with the food (Ravioli was still hard, the Focaccia appetizer was very basic & underwhelming, & the scallop Crudo was poorly plated & not worth the price!). Those were just some of the more disappointing meal factors. After being disappointed we wanted to finish the night with a good coffee, but was also disappointed because the coffee was cold. Unfortunately the only way I would recommend this restaurant is if there would be overall improvements in food execution & portion size, prices & service efficiency.

Souper d'équipe exceptionnel !
Nous avons passé une soirée tout simplement parfaite dans ce restaurant italien. Le service était impeccable, l'ambiance chaleureuse & les plats absolument délicieux. Toute l'équipe a adoré ,un moment agréable du début à la fin.
Merci pour cette belle expérience, je recommande fortement sans hésiter!!! 🫶🫶

Birbante was incredible! We were a group of six girls & shared everything - & honestly, every dish was amazing. We started with the doppia bruschetta (absolutely delicious!), the burrata, & the endive salad - all so fresh & full of flavor. Then we had a risotto & a pesto pasta, both super tasty & perfectly done. Our waiter was amazing - he explained the menu so well, was super generous, & made the whole experience even better. We finished with 4-5 desserts & devoured every bite. The place itself is beautiful - the décor is super cool yet cozy. 100% recommend!

Birbante is a true gem in Montreal! Authentic Italian flavors, warm atmosphere, & a friendly team that makes you feel at home. Every dish tastes like it's made with passion & tradition something you can't easily find elsewhere in the city. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a genuine Italian experience! 🇮🇹🍝🍷

This place is a gem! The staff & the cooks are amazing. They are pushing out quality service & food. Each dish was amazing! I recommend the lamb pasta & steak was killer. The lava cake pistachio is absolutely insane, & the red snapper appetizer is a must. Like I said there is no wrong answer. We almost ordered one of everything.

I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! I've been several times & the food has been consistently delicious, the vibe is fun & welcoming, & somehow I always seem to meet new & interesting people here! Looking forward to my next visit!

We had a great time at Birbante for a birthday dinner with a group of eight. The food was really good, & the service was friendly & on point the entire evening. Everything we ordered was fresh, well-prepared, & packed with flavor.
The atmosphere was perfect for a celebration, & it made the night even more enjoyable. I'm already looking forward to going back. Highly recommended whether you're with a group or just out for a nice meal.

From the moment we arrived, everything about this restaurant was outstanding. The ambiance is warm & inviting, with nice décor & a cozy atmosphere that instantly makes you feel welcome. The service was impeccable, Mateo was attentive without being intrusive, friendly, & genuinely passionate about what he does.
From the starters to the desserts, each course was perfectly balanced & absolutely delicious.
In every sense-food, service, & atmosphere-this restaurant should be on your list for your next night out. Highly recommended & definitely worth it!

Excellent meal from start to finish. Service was attentive & very helpful, with great recommendations. Every dish was delicious, highly recommend the bruschetta & the creste with lamb. Lots of different cocktail options, extensive Campari & Amaro selection. We'll definitely be back!

Loved this place. Second time going & the menu is really tasty. Between the crudo, the burata, calamari salad, all the pastas & the grill, everyone can find something to their taste.

I recently dined at Birbante & was thoroughly impressed. The professional service created a comfortable & intimate atmosphere, ideal for a date night. The music selection was outstanding, & I appreciated that their playlist is available for download on their website. The drinks stood out with their authentic, natural flavors, perfectly complementing the meal. The food was absolutely delicious, with expertly balanced spices enhancing each dish. Highly recommend for anyone seeking an exceptional Italian dining experience!

La nourriture est bonne, les aliments sont frais. L'entrecôte très bonne aussi. Nous avons trouvé les quantités toutefois très réduites pour le prix (focaccia & bruschetta surtout). Mais bon, c'est une constante maintenant dans la plupart des restaurants de cette catégorie... Burrata excellente, l'agneau beaucoup moins (nos brochettes étaient assez chewy). Aussi, aucun choix de vins lors de notre venue. Personnel sympathique toutefois. Nous recommandons le Moccione pour une expérience italienne, certes un peu plus chère, mais hautement plus intéressante.
